While there are other RPGs out there that pit you against insurmountable odds, few feel as intimidating as this title. Not only because of the setting, but also because of several other features that may surprise you.

Whether it’s a feral ghoul and his unpredictable behavior, a crazy Super Mutant, the effects of constant radiation exposure, or even going too far before you’re ready, there’s always something to keep you on edge.

While exploring the Boston Commonwealth, there are many dangers that you will have to face in order to survive. Whether it’s an evil Yao Guai, a robot with a fatal flaw, or invaders, death is always lurking around the corner. And to make matters worse, you also have to constantly worry about environmental conditions and the impact they have on your health.

Having a strong sense of adventure is great, but it can often come at the cost of your maximum health. Therefore, if you are not careful, you can start losing important health points due to the aggressive radiation that has spread throughout the country. Now, I’m not bashing this place—not at all. In fact, I consider the Shining Sea to be one of the reasons why Fallout 4 it’s addictive. The first time I saw a legend transformation for myself, I couldn’t believe how good that mechanic was, and how scary it was to be surprised by it.

In those cases, survival is almost impossible, and the experience can be overwhelming. That said, exploring beyond your abilities can also be a good thing, as you’ll likely find some random leads Fallout 4.

Since it’s a survival game, that’s not surprising Fallout 4 It punishes you for not realizing or thinking that your body is immune to injury. That’s where the limbs work, and I personally like them, as they make everything seem more real.

A Fun Challenge For Those With The Patience

Last, but not least, there are diseases in Survival Mode. For those unfamiliar with this game mode, it’s pretty straightforward. Unlike Normal Mode, in Survival Mode, resources are scarce, there’s no manual or auto-saving, and ammo is heavy, forcing you to be smart about what you carry unless you want to be heavily buried. Not to mention that illness will also greatly affect your experience.

While playing in Survival Mode, you’re going to want all the help you can get, and nothing deals damage better than a solid armor you can rely on. Therefore, if you expect a challenge and want to increase your chances of survival, it would be a good idea to check the best sets of weapons in Fallout 4.
