10 US companies are hiring in Ireland this 4th of July

If you’re based in Ireland but have ambitions to work for the US multinational make sure you check out these 10 companies, all looking to add to their teams.
For people in the US, this coming Saturday is the Fourth of July, a national holiday celebrating the independence of the US. But just because you’re not based in the US, doesn’t mean you can’t find a way to get on the air.
With that in mind, SiliconRepublic.com has compiled a list of other US countries with offices in Ireland, which are actively looking to grow their teams. Amgen
US international pharmaceuticals Amgen has been in Ireland since 1998 and employs around 1,250 people across its three sites in Santry, Dún Laoghaire and Waterford. Advertised roles include manufacturing process technician, maintenance technician, test and packaging engineer and QA technician, among other opportunities.
BMS
US pharmaceutical Bristol Myers Squibb, or BMShas been in Ireland since 1964 and in those sixty years the company has established businesses in Swords, Dublin, Cruiserath, Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin and Shannon, Clare. BMS employs approximately 1,000 people nationwide. For experts based in the region, vacant roles include project management, associated with drug product in sterile drug products, analytical strategy scientist and life cycle and senior expert in QC quality systems, among others.
Boston Scientific
Massachusetts-headquartered medical device manufacturer Boston Scientific operates in three areas of Ireland, Tipperary, Cork and Galway. This organization has been present in this country for more than 30 years and in April of this year it announced an investment of €75m which will be focused on expanding its R&D capabilities in Galway, and opening new, purpose-built laboratories. Job applicants should consider roles such as quality engineer III, chief quality technician, quality system technician and chief chemist.
Cisco
A technology company based in California Cisco has been in Ireland since the mid-1990s. In Galway Cisco Group looking to increase numbers with a technical leader for cloud engineering, a software engineer for application development, a senior software engineer and a cloud platform software engineer. In Dublin vacancies include threat intelligence engineer, software engineering manager and senior software engineer, as well as other opportunities.
Fidelity Investments
Boston-headquartered financial services company Fidelity Investments has operated in Ireland since 2000 and has premises in Galway and Dublin. There are a number of roles in both locations, for example, the Galway office is looking to hire a senior software test engineer, cloud engineer, lead QA engineer and ECS product analyst. In Dublin there are opportunities for a business operations analyst and a senior manager in infrastructure applications engineering.
MSD
It was originally founded in New Jersey, a pharmaceutical company MSD it employs around 2,500 people in Ireland across its five sites in Tipperary, Cork, Carlow and Dublin and began arriving in the region in the 1970s. The organization currently has job vacancies in four departments, manufacturing and QA, engineering, IT and digital data and research and development. Available jobs include senior microbiologist, microbiology technician, API maintenance leader and process scientist, among others.
Regeneron
International US Regeneron It has many international locations, including Dublin and Limerick. The Dublin-based team is looking to hire an associate director of global patient safety, a senior medical affairs coordinator and a senior manager in comprehensive reporting management. Limerick vacancies include the roles of principal data engineer, associate quality control manager, principal QA specialist in IT and project engineer.
Rent The Runway
Headquartered in New York and founded in 2009, Rent The Runway first arrived in Galway, Ireland in 2019. The e-commerce platform currently has three roles open for country-based professionals. The engineering team is looking to hire a senior recognition engineer, a senior software engineer and a software engineer III.
Work day
US software company Work day has its European headquarters in Dublin and is currently looking to recruit professionals to its many teams. Open roles include opportunities for cybersecurity engineer, site trust engineer, senior AI data scientist, technology implementation manager and senior agent AI engineering engineer.
Yahoo
US messaging and technology company Yahoo is launching its Irish headquarters in early 2025, at the EXO building in Dublin Docklands. There are two roles currently open for professionals based in Ireland. A senior data engineer job and a senior software application engineer job, both under the Yahoo Mail category.
