At the beginning of your journey in Palworld, you’ll quickly realize that Career Fitness is almost as important as the general energy levels of your Friends. Just because they can deal crazy damage doesn’t mean they’ll be good workers!
Kindling is one of the many qualities of work available to your partners, and it is usually only possessed by those who have a relationship of fire. Placing a Pal with a burning value inside the base will allow it to start working on the available furnace or start cooking a selection of delicious foods!
Naturally, the higher the Kindling value, the faster the Pal will complete a task set. Since update 1.0, these values can range from 1-10. Let’s take a look at some of the best Kind Friends in each category of the game and how to make the most of them!
Pre-Kiss Game Buddies
So, at this point, you’ve probably just made your first foundation and you’re wondering how everything works. However, one of the most important things is early mining metal and melt it down into ingots, so that you can use it for art various useful things.
For this, you will need at least a few They don’t love each other dealing with furnace operations. From where you go, you’ll have access to a few decent Kindling Pals, near the starting point.

Mid-Game Kindling Pals
Katress Ignis
One of the first things you’ll want to do at this point is to brace yourself Katress Ignis. While this Pal is inside the base, it will agree +1 to every other Pal of Kindling rank. Honestly, this is just a free upgrade to all of Pal’s Kindling without using something like the Kindling Handbook.
There are several ways to get Katress Ignis. First, you can go to Dungeon on Sakurajima and find a wild Katress Ignis inside. These can spawn normally or as a dungeon master.
Or, you can stick to normal Katress and breed it with Wixen to get yourself Katress Ignis, if you feel like you’re not ready for Sakurajima yet. Katress Ignis is a good companion to use in Kindling Handbooks, as you will likely have this Pal in your base for a long time.
Condensing Pal can also increase its activity levels. You can do this by combining multiple Pals into 1, or by increasing their levels with Starfruits.
Helpful Mid-Level Assistants
So, at this point, you’ve probably taken down a decent amount of towers and are working your way up through the metal ranks, from Refined Metal to Plasteel and Pal Metal.
Remember to complete the Kindling research at the Pal Research Station to speed up your Kindling activities!
You will need Friends with a very high level of Kindling to get these tasks done in a timely manner. In addition, you will also need Friends with many types of work skills, to help with many tasks in the area.

If you’ve ever explored Volcanic Island, you might find out Alpha Blazamut spawns in the northwest. This Pal is great if your site has a minefield and furnace running at the same time.

Friends Who Have the Latest Game
So, at this point, you’re almost there Access to the sunor you might check out the World Tree. Finally, you will be able to do the craft Ancient furnacewhich requires at least 6 Kindling to melt Paloxite Ingots.

If you haven’t been to the World Tree, or Sunreach yet, try getting a Jormuntide Ignislocated on the eastern edge of Feybreak Island. With 7 Kindling at large, this is a great early upgrade.
Once you’ve found a good selection of Pals, there are a few things you can do to improve their Kindling abilities.
First, you can breed them with certain artificial abilities that improve their performance abilities, such as Hand of the Demon, Artisan or Serious. You should then improve theirs Speed of Operation with Anubis Statueusing Pal Souls. Finally, you can summarize and raise their final levels with The Practical Kindling Handbook.
At this point, you’ll have a ridiculously strong group of friends that will complete all your Consulting needs in no time!
