United Stables adopts Chainlink infrastructure as U stablecoin surpasses $1B supply

United Stables adopted Chainlink as the official oracle infrastructure and cross-chain for its U stablecoin after the asset surpassed $1 billion in circulating supply and over $2.5 billion in daily trading volume.
Summary
- United Stables adopted Chainlink as the official oracle infrastructure and cross chain for its U stablecoin after assets exceeded $1 billion.
- Chainlink Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve are now live, while CCIP will support cross chain transfers of U.
- The merger builds on the expansion of the Chainlink facility as stablecoin and DeFi projects adopt its interoperability and data services.
According to an announcement from United Stables, the company has combined Chainlink’s data and collaboration products to stabilize prices, secure storage, and transfer U, its dollar-pegged stablecoin launched on BNB Chain and Ethereum in December 2025.
Releases include Chainlink Data Feed and Proof of Storage, both of which are live now. United Stables said it also plans to integrate Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to support secure U transfers between blockchain networks as the stablecoin expands into a multi-chain ecosystem.
The company said the decision follows a review of security standards across the industry after recent incidents exposed vulnerabilities in Oracle’s legacy infrastructure and bridge. According to United Stables, fragmented liquidity, uncertain pricing, and vulnerability to foreign currency transfers were among the problems it sought to address by adopting Chainlink’s infrastructure.
Data feed, book confirmation goes live
Under the merger, Chainlink Data Feeds now provides distributed pricing data to United Stables which supports more than 20 lending agreements. At the same time, Chainlink Proof of Reserve allows users and protocols to verify U’s security by using on-chain cryptographic checks.
United Stables launched U in December 2025 as a fully supported stablecoin designed for trading, payments, decentralized finance, institutional payments, and AI-driven applications. At the time of launch, the company said that iU is backed by individual funds and vetted stablecoins including USDC, USDT, and USD1, with funds held in segregated accounts and verified with on-chain Proof of Reserve and independent quarterly audits.
Athena, the CEO of United Stables, said that the integration of Chainlink allows users, institutional partners, and established financial agreements to access the data of guaranteed prices, independently verify the U collateral around the clock, and finally transfer stablecoin safely across multiple blockchain networks.
He added that the company views cryptographic authentication as a key requirement for building trust as the U expands beyond its initial deployment.
Johann Eid, chief business officer at Chainlink Labs, said the infrastructure will allow United Stables to extend the U across established finance while relying on Chainlink’s network of oracles and interoperability. According to Eid, the platform is designed to support institutional-level stablecoin activity across multiple blockchains.
CCIP is planned for more chain transfers in the future
In addition to services already in use, United Stables said it intends to adopt Chainlink CCIP to enable cross-chain transfers of U. According to the company, the protocol is expected to reduce friction when liquidity flows between supported blockchain networks while providing an additional security layer for collaboration.
For United Stables, the announcement builds on the road that was launched when the U was launched late last year. Along with financial integration with platforms including PancakeSwap, ListaDAO, Aster, and Four.meme, the company said it plans to add private balances and AI-focused payment capabilities with technologies like EIP-3009 and delegated processing.
According to United Stables, combining its liquidity infrastructure with Chainlink’s oracle, reserve verification, and collaboration products aims to provide transparent collateral verification, secure price data, and future cross-chain functionality as iU continues to expand across BNB Chain, Ethereum, TRON, and other supported blockchain networks.
CCIP has become one of Chainlink’s main blockchain collaboration products over the past year. Earlier this month, Aave expanded its use of the protocol by making CCIP the default cross-chain infrastructure across the Aave App and Stable Vaults. According to Aave, the same infrastructure now handles token transfers, vault rebalancing, governance control, deposits, withdrawals, and yield optimization instead of relying on separate systems for different cross-chain operations.
Aave also said that CCIP already has the ability to transfer its GHO stablecoin to all supported networks using Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Token standard. Collaborative management proposals are also made using the Aave Delivery Infrastructure, which uses CCIP to transfer authorized management actions from Ethereum to other blockchain networks where Aave operates.
Safety has always been an important part of CCIP design. According to Aave, the entire bridge route is protected by at least 16 independent node operators distributed in various organizations and regions, while the built-in rate limits limit the amount of traffic that can travel during exceptional circumstances.
Chainlink continues to expand the facility
The latest integration adds to Chainlink’s growing presence across decentralized financial infrastructure and institutional financial infrastructure.
In June, Chainlink joined Project Pangea, a bank-backed project focused on exploring stablecoin-based foreign exchange payments between Europe and South Korea. According to Chainlink, the project includes FairSquareLab, UniKA, and Qivalis, which represents more than 50 banks with more than $10 trillion in assets under management. The system uses Chainlink’s ISO 20022-compliant messaging infrastructure and existing SWIFT systems to test atomic payments against payments using the harmonizing euro and South Korean won stablecoins.
Chainlink has also expanded into a common market infrastructure. In January, BitMEX said it would use Chainlink Data Streams to provide pricing for its fixed Equity Perpetuals, allowing the exchange to support perpetual contracts linked to stocks and exchange-traded funds using continuous market data from multiple sources.
