Mina the Hollower Is About to Introduce Real Life Trinkets

If there’s one thing gamers love as much as (if not sometimes even more than) buying a video game, it’s buying merchandise for a game they already love. That’s especially true when it comes to titles that feel like instant classics from the moment they drop.

And it seems Yacht Club Games you know this very well. After conquering the world with a spectacular universe and a mountain of Shovel Knight plushies, they decided to give the same royal treatment to their latest adventure: Mina the Hollower. So if you’ve been itching to get your hands on some of Mina’s screen-capable gear, you’re in luck.

Hollower’s Bounty of Physical Collectibles

Like Shovel Knight, Mina the Hollower is a game dripping with personality. It follows the notorious Hollower who is tasked with saving a mysterious, cursed island full of strange characters, deadly bosses, and a wealth of powerful Trinkets to collect – and yes, this is one of those games where even the basics become instantly iconic.

With that in mind, the developers announced on Thursday that they have officially partnered with the boutique physical media outlet i am 8bit bringing an amazing collection straight to your table.

This new physical range includes very cool aspects of the game’s aesthetics and sound identity, which gives die-hard fans many reasons to be happy (and a little worried about their savings, of course, and my wallet is already looking at me with heavy suspicion).

First on the list is Mina the Hollower 3xLP Vinyl Setprice of $64.99. Pressed on luxurious Velvet Purple Splatter Vinyl, this set packs all the chip-tastic sound put together by industry icons Jake Kaufman and Yuzo Koshiro. To make it even cooler, the album sleeve features retro-inspired zoetrope artwork designed by Nimit Malava depicting Mina in action, and even includes a pair of custom 3D glasses designed to enhance the sleeve art while listening.

However, if you prefer practical items to carry with your daily work, the collection also presents two incredibly clean items for sale. The first is a lovely notebook with a suggested retail price of $19.99. A little steep, sure, but it’s described as a high-quality 240-page magazine built for repetition. Mina’s real in-game notebookwhich is always a wonderful touch as it doubles as an almost exact replica. Wrapped in a forest green faux-leather exterior, it comes finished with beautiful gold foil embellishments on the cover, making it the ultimate logbook for tablet-time notes, daily sketches, or even keeping track of the game’s various side quests.

The second thing is Keychain Blind Boxas the name suggests, it’s a collectible blind box featuring one of six random Mina designs, crafted from squishy PVC rubber. This baby is priced at $14.99, making it the most affordable piece in the collection. In addition, there are very neat details here: iam8bit has hidden a rare design in the mix!
