Palworld: The Best Flying Mountains

Sometimes it’s hard to appreciate the true scale of things when you’re stuck on the ground. This is especially true for your Palworld journey.

Luckily for us, we can take to the skies with our Pals and see the world from above. This ability is not only useful for taking beautiful pictures, remember, but you can use the flying mounts to move faster and skip certain parts of the map, advancing the story much faster.

Let’s take a look at some of the most useful mounts for each section of the game, and how we can get our hands on them.

Pal Gear Workbench

Before you can start thinking about zip lining in the sky, you will first need to build yourself a Pal Gear Workbench. You will need a character level 6 with the following items:

  • 10x Pieces of Paldium
  • 30x wood
  • 2x fabric

Once you have built the bench, you can create Harnesses and Seats with a variety of Pals. Each can be found at technical medicine and must be enabled before you can design it using the workbench.

Many recipes require skin, Pieces of paldiumand knowledge related to the level and class of the Pal you are trying to board. Early chairs, for example, will require regular Ingots, while higher levels may be required Paloxiteand others hard to find.

Early-Game Flying Mounts

Palworld Nitewing

It would be very important to start flying as soon as possible. Most of the starting point can be vertical; flying will save you a ton of time getting back and forth.

In addition, if you’re looking to unlock as many fast travel spots as possible, as well as towers that give you a view over the map, many of these are located very high up. I wish I had made myself a flying chair earlier, instead of climbing all over the place!

  • The first installation you may find is Nitewingand its seat is open level 15. You can find this early in the morning in the red grass area of the first area, Windswept Hills.

  • Just north of this place, you can find yourself in the wild Elphidranhis saddle can be opened soon by level 20.

  • Finally, if you wait until night, you can find out Helzephyrand located in Mount Flopie place. You can open this Pal for the saddle level 25. This mountain is very good and will keep you a good time, until you start moving to the middle areas of the game.

If you’re looking for a dedicated flying mount, it’s worth looking at some passive skills that benefit movement. Adding something like Dimensional Leap, Eternal Engine, Swift, or Runner to your flying friends will greatly improve their performance.

Mid-Game Flying Mounts

Palworld Astegon

Moving on, you’ve probably completed a good number of towers and are working your way through the later areas of the game. Luckily, we have a huge number of flying coasters to choose from here, all faster and more amazing than ever.

At this point, you’re probably looking for a flying mount that you can use to get around and use in combat, so I’ll highlight some powerful options here:

  • You can start to find out The Quivern as soon as you arrive No Trace of Manthe grassy area at the foot of the great Snow Mountain in the north. To equip the saddle, you will need level 38. Quivern has a great ability, it energizes your other dragons, so you can let it rest in your party, giving passives damage.

  • If you want some damage, go to 2nd Wildlife Sanctuary, north of Obsidian Mountain. Here, you can find out Astegonwhich is a powerhouse in the beginning, and only in need Episode 39 to ride. This Pal is also good for mining!

  • Now, if you wait for night time, you can fly to 3rd Wildlife Sanctuarynortheast of the desert. Here you can hold a Shadowbeakin need Episode 47 to ride. This Pal has the highest running speed and flying speed compared to everything we’ve assembled so far, while also packing a punch. This mountain should last you until at least Sunreach!

Late-Game Flying Mounts

Palworld Jetdragon

As soon as you hit the latest game, I take it as everything from it The sunset goes on, you get access to some of the most powerful Pals, and of course, Spheres throughout the game.

The search Sol and Ancient Spheres it lets you catch almost every single Pal you want, but, naturally, you’ll still need a level to unlock their saddle in the tech tree. Here are a few amazing hikes you can grab as soon as you step into Sunreach:

  • If you were able to combine a Xenolord slab with a random chest or trip, you can create a An expensive circle and fight it out in the private arena. This raid boss has a ton of HP, but with decent level Pals, you should survive. You can ride this Pal at Episode 66and you’ll notice how fast it moves, compared to Shadowbeak.

  • If you ignored the previous friend’s challenge, just go to the western floating island of Sunreach to get the Alpha Eidrolon. With Sol Spheres, this is very easy to handle and actually very fast Xenolordat the expense of durability. This can be done in advance episode 68.

  • Finally, we have it The Jetragonwhich, like Eidrolon, can be found in Sunreach. Just head to the northwestern island and an underground lake, and a level 70 Jetragon will be waiting for you. This is an extremely powerful Pal, with the fastest flying speed in the game. Unfortunately, you need to Episode 79 to make a saddle, and materials are only available Earth Treeso this can only be used at the end of your experience.

It may be worth mentioning that you can also find Shaolong in the tree of the Earth, which is a beautiful flying mountain. But at this point, it may be overshadowed by the mountains you already have. It looks cool though, so that’s a plus!
