Palworld: Dog Coin Farming Guide

There are several different currencies in Palworld, but arguably none are more important at the end of the game than Dog Coins.

Chances are you’ve found a few of these throughout your travels, whether it’s from fishing or just trawling through piles of junk. However, one of the best ways to get a ton of these is by defeating or capturing a wild Mimog.

Of course, if you’ve ever encountered a Mimog, you’ll know more than you know how tricky these puppies can be, running away from you at ridiculously high speeds if you don’t catch them fast enough.

So where can we get Mimog consistently, and how can we start collecting those sweet coins? Let’s take a look!

This is a late season farming method, available only to those who have entered the world tree.

Preparing Your Party

Before we go out to hunt Mimog, we need to first understand more about it Partner types, partner skills, and drop rates.

Mimog a Neutral-type Paland drops a random amount of Dog Bullets every time it is defeated. Luckily for us, there are a few Pals in the game that expand the number of items decreased by neutral friends:

First, you will want to hold yourself back a Katresswhich can be found early in the morning around Mount Flopie, the Frostbound Mountains and No Man’s Trail. This will increase the drop rate of the neutral type by 40%. In addition, you will have a chance to save the Pal sphere if it is thrown!
Next, you will need to find a Blazehowl Noctwhich is mostly found near Mount Obsidian. This will give you another 40% drop rate increase.

While it says this buff doesn’t stack, that only works for stacking with the same kind of Pal. Because we have 2 different types with 2 buffs, they can stack together.

The next thing we need to do is to increase the star level of both of these Pals level 4. You can do this either by holding a bunch of the same Pal and reducing them by using Pal Condenser. Or you can use it easily Star fruitsobtained by Bounty Officers, Relic Recycler, or purchased from the Medal Vendor.

If it is upgraded to a maximum level of 4, the drop rate will be doubled 80%which gives us context 160% increasing rate of decline of dog coins.

Breeding grounds

Ok, now you have it 4-star Katress and Blazehowl Noct. They may take a while to get to 4 stars, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Now, you will need to go to the top Earth Treemake sure you have it a fast flying mountain. Something like Jetragon or Eidrolon with a strong movement is good for this.

Mimog spawns more often in the World Tree compared to other locations throughout the game. It’s not guaranteed that Mimog spawns normally in certain biomes, but I’ve had very good results farming in the area. a snowy area in the Northwest.

First, you’ll want to start from Fast travel point Abandoned labthen go in a straight line all the way to e Remnant Riverside fast travel area. This is quite a straight line with a lot of open ground to cover, which seems to be perfect for spawning a Mimog.

Way and drops

I fly back and forth from these two points, keep an eye out to find out cyan-black of Mimog as you pass. The faster you can regenerate the Spawn radius of Pals, the more likely you are to get a Mimog, so use a Pal with speed beats like Dimensional Leap it’s good here.

As soon as you see a Mimog, hit it with your hard hitting attack. Something like Meteorain complete here, as if the first meteor doesn’t kill, the spreading rings will catch the Mimog as it tries to escape. Be sure to tag Mimog using the steering mechanic, in case you lose your vision!

With all the drop rate versions, I’ve been getting anywhere 300-600 Bullets for Dogs every time I kill a Mimog, which is honestly pretty cool in a very relaxed way.

If you really want to, you can change the global settings in the main menu, increasing the spawn rate to 3x. Now, instead of getting one Mimog, you’ll get 3 sitting next to each other. However, this slows down many aspects of the game and can ruin your immersion. Of course, whatever settings players enjoy the most should be prioritized.

Dealer of Medals

So, you’ve been farming for a while, and you have a healthy stash of dog coins. What can we use these for, and why are they so important? Well, if you’ve ever visited any of the ruined churches around the map, you might find a Medal dealer to go around.

These vendors have some of the craziest and most broken items that you can use to create incredibly powerful allies. Here’s a quick look at some of your options:

Stat Fruits	200	These fruits will increase the hidden stat of the friend by 10. Using Ability Glasses, you can see Attack, Survival and Defense Pals statistics. Making these stats 100 across the board will result in a very powerful Pal.
Elixirs	200	These Elixirs can be used to increase your stats permanently.
Star Fruits 1/2/3/4	50/100/200/400	These star fruits will increase Pal’s star level. Every time a star level is gained, it will increase the effectiveness of Pal’s Partner Skill, as well as their combat stats and career stats.
Books	300	These books will increase the relevance of Pal work by 1. This can be increased up to 10 for faster work speed, as long as the Pal has at least 1 in that selected association.

Increasing star level, hidden stats and using Pal souls are very important in increasing Pal’s total power. Of course, if you want to increase these statistics and take difficult challenges like Hard Mode Towers or Arenayou will need lots of Dog Bullets! So get farming!
