Some links on Tech Sparking are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This page explains how that works and what it does and doesn’t change.
How it works
Affiliate links contain a tracking code from the retailer or service. If a purchase follows, the merchant pays us a percentage. The price you pay is identical to going direct, and you can always bypass our link entirely by searching for the product yourself.
What it never changes
- Rankings: we don’t rank products by commission. Many of our recommendations have no affiliate programme at all.
- Verdicts: a negative conclusion stays negative even when the product pays commission.
- Inclusion: being an affiliate partner is not a condition of appearing in a guide.
Sponsored content
We do not accept paid placements inside editorial guides, and any sponsored or partner content is labelled as such at the top of the page so you never have to guess which is which.
Why we do it at all
Affiliate income is part of what keeps the site free and independent, alongside advertising. If you’d rather not support it that way, you’re welcome to read everything without clicking a single paid link — nothing on Tech Sparking is behind a paywall. Questions? Use the contact page.
