Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Tech Sparking collects, why, and how you can control it. We keep it deliberately short and specific rather than burying the important parts in legal language.

What we collect

  • Pages you visit and general technical data your browser sends (approximate location, device type, referring page) — used to understand which articles help readers.
  • Comments and messages you submit voluntarily, including your name and email if you provide them.
  • Cookies for basic site function, and analytics/ads cookies where those services are enabled.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your personal data.
  • We don’t require an account to read anything on the site.
  • We don’t collect payment details — Tech Sparking is free to read.

Analytics and advertising

We use standard analytics to measure traffic and, where enabled, third-party advertising networks that may set their own cookies to show relevant ads. Those networks have their own privacy policies and controls. Our cookie policy explains the categories and how to manage them in your browser.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us via the contact page and we’ll respond within a reasonable period.

Security and retention

We keep collected data only as long as it serves the purposes above, and we protect it with the same practices we recommend to readers in our Security Hub. No system is perfect — if you believe your data has been mishandled, tell us immediately.
