How to get to Tortuga in Windrose

If you put a few hours in Windrose now, you will see, like a real beach, absolutely great!

If you’ve been looking for a hub, somewhere you can buy and sell goods, buy ingredients or recipes and the like, look no further. Let’s take a quick look at how to get to Tortuga and what we can find there!

Miles of Open Water

Before you take a trip to Tortuga, you need to first get your hands on a big boat! What you need a Cash.

Follow the quests of the story line until you encounter a great danger on a nearby coastal island. You need to repair this boat and free the men from the surrounding islands. Once you’ve done this, you can access the Ikesh, which is much bigger and faster than your normal small boat.

At this point, you can either go straight to Tortuga or start completing “How My Sea Adventure Began” Tutorial Quest. This quest will not only teach you the basics of naval combat, but it will also highlight Tortuga on your map after you sink your first ship, giving you experience when you finally get there.

Crossing the Waves

Once you have done this, you will finally be ready to sail. This is quite a long journey far northwestso before you go, make sure you have plenty maintenance equipment for your Ketch.

When you go to Tortuga, you will have to cross several types of sea. One of the most dangerous things Black Waterwith dozens of pirate ships just waiting to blow you to smithereens. In addition, it will also be necessary to cross Undead Waterwhich are standard 6-10 dishes. Whatever you do, don’t get involved; just avoid the ships as often as possible. Full speed ahead!

The Tortuga

You’ll know you’ve arrived in Tortuga when you see a horizontal mass of green flame cutting across the small hub of the island from all sides.

Ignore those mysterious flames for now and head to the town square. Joining the tables, you will find several different groups to interact with. For example:

  • Brothers of the Coast
  • Smugglers of Port Royal

These sections each have a Bounty agentwith whom you can trade Symptoms again Letters of Grace. This will increase your reputation with that group and allow you to buy more powerful items later on.

Groups also have Providerwho is just a salesman. Each group sells unique items to its suppliers, with some specializing in ingredients, some in clothing and some in interiors your ship’s destructive weapons!

Look for items with Set Bonuses. These will give you a serious edge in combat!

You can also find members of staff waiting around the square. You can rent these for a price. Each staff member has a specific job, such as The Alchemist or A tailorand will help you prepare for your next trip.
