How to Craft and Use Titanium Ingots in Subnautica 2

Titanium as a raw material is a resource you can get as soon as you leave your Lifepod in Subnautica 2. Although there are other uses for Titanium as it is, you will need to be able to turn it into Titanium Ingots if you want to craft more advanced items, such as the Repair Tool, Sonic Resonator, and Bioreactor.

Subnautica 2: Where to get Lithium

Watch out for the snapping jaws! You are next on the menu.

The hardest part of making Titanium Ingots is opens the Processor blueprintwhich is a piece of equipment you need at your facility to turn raw Titanium into Titanium Ingots. Fortunately, you have a few Processors to scan for blueprints near your Lifepod.

Turns on the Processor

One of your first tools is the Scanner, which you will use on objects you encounter underwater to learn about them. Once you scan these items, you open related blueprints. You will unlock the Processor by scanning the existing Processor for various hazards that you can find. The easiest to find is probably the Cicada Shipwreck, which you can find about 260 meters southwest of your Lifepod.

Use your Scanner on the Processor, and you’ll be able to build one on your own site. To build it, you will need:

  • 2 Titanium

  • 1 Neutral Acid

  • 1 Copper wire

While Titanium can be taken down, you will need to get creative Neutral Acid and Copper Wire to your Creator. Copper Wire requires two pieces of Copper, which can also be found in the area around your Lifepod and beyond. Then, Mild Acid is made from two bottles of Acidic Rayon and one Copper.

Acidic Rayon bugs are harvested from brain-like plants with Medigel in them. Like Copper and Titanium, you’ll find them around the Lifepod and beyond, but they tend to go deeper and appear more often in tunnels and caves. While you can’t hold Medigel, bags should be cut with your Survival Multitool to be harvested.

If you have the property, use your Habitat Builder to place and craft the Processor.

Craft Titanium Ingots

Subnautica 2 Craft Titanium Ingot

Now that the Processor is ready to go, you can interact with it to put raw Titanium on it and make it create Titanium sites. Each ingot requires three pieces of Titanium and takes 30 seconds to create. Additionally, your Processor uses 10 energy per second to workso you will need to install Solar Panels on your property before you can do anything else. Honestly, loading up on Solar Panels and ways to keep them powered before you start exploring in earnest isn’t such a bad idea.

Once you have Titanium Ingots, you will use them for crafts such as the Repair Tool which requires one ingot, the Sonic Resonator which requires two ingots, and the Bioreactor which requires two ingots. The Bioreactor is a great way to get more energy to power your abode, but the Sonic Resonator is useful immediately, as are you you need it to harvest large nodes of resources you won’t break with your multitool. From there, you can progress quickly because you can collect resources quickly in Subnautica 2.
