Best Fighting Games You Need to Play This Winter

If you are one of those people who crave heat, I don’t know what to tell you. This is not going to be that kind of article. Because I’m from the PNW, and all we have is cold and wet weather.
But that is not a sad thing, because there are many wonderful things about the cold. And this list is dedicated to combat sports that improve in cold weather. For the sake of simplicity, they are rated according to the overall reception of their game reviews.
8 Best Adventure Games You Need to Play This Winter
There is no such thing as a snow trip.
All the games included in this list have really cool categories, and they will come from many series you know. Those range from Dead or Alive, Tekkenagain The Darkstalkersand other strange things like Marvel vs. Capcom, Them’s Fightin’ Herds, again Smash Bros. So bundle up and relax, because it’s time to talk about the Best Fighting Games you need to play this winter!

World Limits / Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate
Dance with the Penguins
Usually, when I think about it Dead or Alive series, I think of hot spots full of very dangerous women. I don’t think about penguins, glaciers, and snow. But that’s exactly what was expected Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate’s The ends of the Earth stage.
Sure, those wading penguins might look cute, but watch a bloody game. Because the End of the World is cruel Dead or Alive on stage. Not only is it slippery, but it takes a lot of damage from a fall when you’re kicked out of the snow. And you should always be aware of falling snow.
Anyway, threats aside, this is a really good platform, and a great example Dead or Alive truth and attention to visual detail.
Servbots Galore
Although I am a big fan of Mega ManI didn’t really go in Myths series. It turns out to be very different from what I like. The only format where I appreciate their cameos in other games, like him Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
In that entry, Bonne Wonderland was another beautiful version of Kattelox Island. Cool snow dust is everywhere, and you can see Servbots playing in the background. Or she works, as Tron Bonne is often a difficult wife.
Although the stage does not offer a lot of hazards that make it memorable, it was one of the most played stages in the competition, mainly because it was not bothered by delays.

Manji Valley / Tekken 6
Yoshimitsu’s background
Back in the PS1 and PS2 era, I played a lot Tekken. It was a great series to dial up my machismo and take on friends in competitive tournaments. And while I enjoyed playing many different fighters, one of my favorites was the fearsome and unpredictable Yoshimitsu.
In Episode 6players must make it out of a snowy area called Manji Valley, which may have been Yoshimitsu’s home base. What we can assure you is that it is full of white and snow, and it is not as sterile as it is beautiful.
10 Best Fighting Game Anti-Heroes
There is a series of amazing fighting games, but this list of fighting heroes makes each adventure more interesting.
This wasn’t a stage we had much to worry about, though it did a pretty good job of showing good visual effects. In particular, that cuts through the ice and leaves a visible trail, an effect that is used in Tekken Tag Tournament 2’s Arctic Dream stage.
7
Canada / Darkstalkerers Resurrection
Sasquatch World
If you think about The Darkstalkers games, you usually don’t think how much fun the series can be. I mean, all fighters are some kind of monster, which usually puts me in a panic state. But that’s the exact opposite of what you’ll find in the Canadian section Black Resurrection.
The entire stage has a relaxed movement, with miniature versions of Sasquatch milling about in the background, cheering and playing. You will also be able to see the occasional bird of prey in flight, as well as fish moving on the lines before being eaten.
The stage looks great, whether it’s day or night, but it’s a fun place to hang out. If you think you are invincible to your opponent, that is.
6
Reine City / Them’s Fightin’ Herds
Where Velvet Rules
I’ve been obsessed Them’s Fightin’ Herds since I first heard about it. I mean, there are a lot of fighters out there, but not many that mix the genre with the visual style it reminds us of My Little Pony.
In Them’s Fightin’ Herdsthe coldest stage is Velvet, and it’s their home base in Reine City. It is a cleverly named stage, as it refers to the French word for queen, as well as the resemblance to Renne, the French word for deer.
As for the stage itself, Reine City has many cameos from various NPCs, including the Elite 7. Which means this cozy little house is busy.

If you’re looking for a winter wonderland with a bit of a twist, let’s talk about Snow Town from BlazBlue: Central Fantasy. At first it was a snowy place, then some crazy led to a change in weather, and then it ended, it was back to cold beauty.
As for how Snow Town looks in the game, it’s very idyllic. There are wooden and brick dwellings warmed by light, pine trees, and igloo-like turrets. There are even Beastkin kids having snowball fights, further immersing you in this cozy setting.
8 Best Soulslikes You Need To Play This Winter
Because nothing goes better with hot chocolate than a punishing experience
Much like you Episode 6Your movement in Snow Town removes the snow. But other than that, your only concern at this stage is to beat the daylights out of your opponent.
4
Dead Woods / Mortal Kombat X
Sub Zero conditions
Mortal Kombat series known for high violence and brutality. But what makes any situation difficult is the cold conditions. And on Mortal Kombat X Dead Woods, nature itself is working hard to defeat you.
It’s not just that you have to worry about the cold in the Dead Woods. It is full of rotting trees, corpses and fog. So if fighting your opponents wasn’t hard enough, you also have to make sure they don’t hit you with branches or impale you with a stump.
This is the kind of stage that Sub Zero thrives on. Which means you’ll have to be careful and avoid letting cold anger overwhelm you.
3
The Ancient Sleeper’s Icebox / Soulcalibur IV
Glorious Destruction
I Soulcalibur the series distinguishes itself from many other fighting games by focusing on the weapons used by each fighter. From traditional fare like blades and axes to sword and shield and whips, there’s something for every play style. And you will need your strongest weapons to take on such categories Soulcalibur IV Sleeping Ancient Man’s Ice Box.
This section has something for everyone – pirate ships, dinosaur fossils, and even the dazzling aurora borealis. It’s beautiful but also deadly, and makes challenging battles more difficult.
The characters most associated with this place are Cervantes and Ivy. So don’t expect any mercy from this cold border.
2
Snowy Rail Yard / Street Fighter IV
The End of the Line
My first fighting game was Street Fighter on the SNES. So it is only fitting that it makes its mark on this list of fighting games. I hurt my thumbs so I can play the series, too Street Fighter IV it was seen as a welcome return to the series’ roots.
Street Fighter IV’s The Snow Rail Yard may not contain any hazards, but it is a dangerous place to fight. Mainly because it is the end of the line of many fighters in Arcade Mode, and declares war against M. Bison.
The Snowy Rail Yard is located in the notoriously cold, Russian city of Novosibirsk. So enjoy watching the trains come and go as you trade vicious punches.
1
Summit / Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Climb to the Top
I Smash Bros. series is one that includes all kinds of different games. And the Ice Climbers have had a stage at Summit ever since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
It may not look like much, it is represented by a large snow decorated with platforms. But it’s deadlier than you’d expect, full of falling snow, trap doors, and floating clouds. And if it really continues, it will run dangerously low, forcing everyone to hold on or fall into the freezing water.
As someone who has played the series for thousands of hours, I think it’s safe to say that Summit is the pinnacle of the winter divisions in fighting games. It’s equal parts cool, comfortable, and dangerous.
