10 Resident Evil Diquiem Systems That Silently Reward A Warning With Fury

Caution used to be optional in Resident Evil, indeed – but not in Requiem.

A big part of horror is witnessing grief, and most people want to see the visceral action happen. For those who are villains, many times will give you that satisfying bloodbath, but we’ve rounded up the best that Resident Evil Requiem has to offer.

Lots of Resident Evil Requiem spoilers ahead.

Saving Grace

For a while

Citizen Evil Needs Grace Saved

Grace is thrown into Resident Evil horror at a rapid pace, and has little time to process it all. It seems like something wants to kill him every two seconds, and he desperately wants to get away.

One of the best moments in the first game comes when Grace finally thinks she can escape “The Girl,” only to be pulled back in. Leon steps up, using Requiem to blast the attacking enemy.

It is here that we see the true power of Requiem, as it rips the flesh of the “girl” and tears open her skull. We then see his eye hanging from his body which is said to be satisfactory.

Defeat Chunk

Strong Blast

Citizen Evil We Need Kindness After Chunk

You are ready to be bathed in blood when you decide to take control and attack Chunk. Chunk is a giant creature that roams the halls of the care facility, and can be taken out with a hemolytic injection and a few shots from Requiem.

If you manage to take out this abomination, you are rewarded with a satisfying scene of taking a few more steps before being covered in blood blisters. The blisters then pop and pop, causing blood to leak out into the hallway.

Finally, Chunk explodes, splattering blood on the walls, and it’s a relief to leave them. You also get a charm for your efforts.

The Chainsaw Massacre

Second Opinion

Resident Evil Requiem Leon Second impression

For me, there were few episodes of Resident Evil as satisfying as getting the chance to play as Leon in the care facility. The first time we go into action, a zombie with a chainsaw comes out and takes out a woman in front of us.

If that wasn’t good enough, you can grab a chainsaw and hack your way through the many zombies that fill the room. It shows why Leon is the best in many people’s books.

This scene is followed by Grace being saved, so you get two great scenes in the background.

When you play Resident Evil Requiem, you play between Grace and Leon. Leon is meant to be full of things, here are some ways to make it more fun.

Nose Removed

Not So Romantic

Requiem Evil Requiem Lady Turning

It is something that, for some, can be incredibly scary. The first time you play as Leon, Gideon goes and infects various people walking the streets of the city.

The first contact with this is a woman asking for help falling for a man. She then goes on to kiss the man before she gets sick and rips off his nose.

We get a shot of his face, and it’s worth enough to make one cringe in pain as blood gushes out from where his nose used to sit.

Meat Grinder

So Much Blood

Living evil needs Grace Meat Grinder

There are a few top scenes in the flesh-grinding section of Resident Evil Requiem if you like blood. You enter this place and see dead bodies falling on a large stone of blood.

After draining the blood, you jump into the grinder, to open it. Then you get the satisfying experience of pushing zombies into a giant meat grinder and watching them get ripped to shreds.

Shortly after this, you also get to ride the blood river into another vat, completely covering Grace in blood for the next part of the game.

Alyssa chuckled

Like a Slasher movie

Requiem Evil Requiem Alyssa Holding Grace

It is a psychological and negative time. It’s the first time Grace has been really scared since the past, and it’s when her mother is cut in front of her.

As Alyssa Ashcroft leads Grace out of the Wrenwood Hotel, we see Alyssa shoot a man on the ground. We think it’s over, but the same man comes up from behind and drives a machete through Alyssa’s neck.

It’s a scene that feels like it was taken out of a slasher film, and it’s a moment that fans of the thriller should enjoy.

The Eating Girl

You are dirty

Citizen Evil needs Dead Body Pulse

You wake up in a care facility, free yourself from your bonds, and try to escape. Everything seems to be going well when you open the door, and a dead body comes out.

At that moment, the big hand reaches out, holding the body. “The girl,” and gives you a real horror show as she rips the body apart with her teeth, letting blood flow out of her mouth and down your face.

It’s not as bloody as some moments, but it’s a moment that sets the tone for most of the game, and deserves to be at the top of the list.

1

The Blood Vat

Too Much Blood?

Citizen Evil Needs Mercy in a Bloody Room

This list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the bloodiest part of the game. He reaches the underground workshop, but Gideon escapes and sets off a self-destruct sequence.

It’s time for you to escape, and as you pass through the examination rooms, blood pours out of the vessels, soaking the facility. To eliminate it, you can use special fire extinguishers to tear apart the virus, causing it to explode in the dirty visceral area.

There is also no other part of the game where you get to ride a real waterfall of blood. There is no doubt that this is a monkey’s dream.
