How To Get Rid Of Flesh Wall & Flaking Veins In Mewgenics

A Wall of Meat? No, no, don’t worry, this isn’t like the Wall of Flesh from Terraria, this one is thankfully immutable and non-aggressive! We are very close a roguelike with a twist the world of Mewgenics, which may or may not be even more depraved.

At the end of The Boneyards and The Caves, you may have noticed another small event before returning to the house. These aren’t just random rooms with no purpose; they are doors that lead to a new place. However, getting to this new place is not easy, and it is not obvious.

Mewgenics: The Furniture Guide

Well, I wouldn’t call it cool… but it’s better than nothing!

So let’s take a look at the Throbbing Domain, and how you can get inside!

Fighting Guillotina 1, 2 & 3

Mewgenics Cat Head

Before you can enter this new area, you need to first defeat 3 versions of Guillotina. Guillotina, if you’ve never come across him, is a giant, cannibalistic, Snorlax-looking cat that wants to devour everything he can get his hands on.

This is known as a house manager: every 10 days or more, He’s from outside, and you need to use your best retired cats to get him out!

Every version of the Guillotine is very healthy, and sometimes separates body parts and extra mobs that you need to take out individually.

However, you are allowed to use items in your inventory, which makes these battles much easier if you have a good selection of cats. Anything that goes up in combat is amazing here. For example, Butchers can infinitely increase their maximum HP and Clerics provide defense. Strength buffs and 1-time use item buffs are very powerful here, too! So don’t let them go to waste.

Killing these house bosses will give the following items upon defeat:

  • Guillotina 1: Throbbing Gristle of the Wall of Meat.

  • Guillotina 2: Putrid Leech of Throbbing Arteries

  • Guillotina 3: Guillotina’s head for the meat altar

A Wall of Meat

Mewgenics Wall of Meat

Throbbing Gristle must be equipped by one of your party members and will change the parameters of your run. This thing requires you to prepare really well.

If possible, breed cats with high stats, especially in the Constitution. When your cats come down with gristle, they will die sooneven if it’s not a cat carrying something. You don’t get second chances and you can’t revive them once they’re killed.

Fortunately, Gristle is also an excellent weapon, and turns enemies into meat fodder when they die.

In both of these runs, watch out for enemies that destroy your equipment, like those skull clickers. If they ever destroy a quest item, you’ll have to start over, so be careful.

To reach the Flesh Wall, you will first need to go through the Alley, the Sewers and then the Caves. Defeat the Spinnerette as usual, then move on to the next event. Place the Throbbing Gristle on the Wall, and the meat will retreat. Of course, this is only one part of the problem.

Venous Puncture

Similar to Gristle, Leech requires equipping and can make your run very difficult. A character with a leech cannot climb and will die as soon as he descendsso it makes sense to put this on a cat with a high constitution, like a teacher or a tank. Take care of yourself, and if necessary, simply put yourself in a corner or in tall grass, away from the fight.

Double Necromancers? You must be crazy!

To get to the next area, you’ll need to go through the Alley again, but instead head to the Junkyard and follow the Boneyard. Take Dybbukand attach the Leech to the Veins in the next section. The veins will be destroyed, and you can now advance to the Throbbing Domain.

The Throbbing Domain

An altar of flesh

When you enter the Throbbing Domain for the first time, you have the option to sacrifice one of your cats, smite others and grab some items to take home. However, you won’t be able to access the domain until you kill Guillotina for the third and final time.

First, you must equip Guillotina’s head on one of your cats. This will make every single battle hard meeting. That means a lot of enemies with a strong variety. In addition, each enemy will target a cat with an armored head, so it’s better to put it on something like a tank that won’t die easily.

Be sure to always heal this cat, and again, don’t let the mask be destroyed by enemy attacks. Fortunately, this mask also has the ability to instill fear into enemies who hit the cat, so it’s not all doom and gloom.

Bring this party to the Caves or Boneyard, then proceed to the Throbbing Domain. You will be given the choice to sacrifice the cat for the Guillotine’s Head. Unfortunately, you will have to let this cat diebut it is of great benefit, I promise!

The Roaring King

Now you have a chance to continue with this new place. There are a few encounters with familiar enemies here, and then you go up to fight the King himself. Remember, she only has 3 cats, but if you are well prepared, this is not a very difficult battle.

If you’ve beaten the Lab area in Act 3, you can come with Cryogenic Time Chamber. This means that all enemies regenerate if you don’t destroy their body while running. I was able to do all of this with both Guillotina’s Head and Time Chamber, which means you don’t need to do separate runs.

Remember to use pills after each battle. With the Time Chamber, you’ll have plenty for every battle.

Once you’ve taken down the king, put his heart in the box, then return to the Time Machine in the Lab. This will allow you to navigate to Ice Age space and future, to open the remainder of Act 3.
