How To Solve The Sun Puzzle Box And Get The Sun Quartz In Requiem Evil Evil

Resident Evil Requiem is finally here, and it’s a worrisome experience for first-timers fighting for their lives. Rhodes Hill Care Center is particularly unsympathetic, which is why you’ve been tasked with escaping us.

There is only one problem: the whole building is closed, the only way out is the front door, which cannot be opened unless three different quartzes are installed: Moon Quartz, Sun Quartz, and Star Quartz.

Moon Quartz is relatively easy to find, but Sun Quartz requires you to do a bit of running. In fact, in true Resident Evil fashion, it requires you to do a healthy amount of backtracking.

Thankfully, we know how to open the box, so you don’t have to try and worry about guessing.

Where to find the Solar Puzzle Box

And Corrosive

You can find the Sun Puzzle Box itself quite easily, as it is in the Lead Researcher’s Office. However, you will soon realize that the box is tightly closed and there is no way to open it, that is, until you read one of the letters in the office. This book details using a corrosive to melt a metal lock, which is exactly what we need to handle.

Corrosive can be found in the Conference Room, right in some of the Patient’s Medical Records, which is a file you will need to read/collect to get the Case Closed trophy.

There are also tough enemies in the Conference Room, so be prepared to sink or swim.

Regardless, after finding the decay, you can go back to the Lead Researcher’s Office and open the box.

How to Open a Puzzle Box

While in the Lead Researcher’s Office, you will see three different pictures that you can study/collect, but one of them, Photo 1 of the Lead Researcheryou already have a little hint behind the picture. If you look closely, you’ll see that the Sun Puzzle Box is there, with the last two buttons pressed: Moon, Sun.

Like the Moon Puzzle Box, the Sun Puzzle Box starts and ends with the sun itself, which turns the code into Sun, blank, Moon, Sun — and considering we haven’t used the star button yet, it’s a safe (and fair) guess that it goes there.

With that, we have our code with a little simple logic: Sun, Star, Moon, Sun.

After entering the code, you will not only get the Sun Quartz you were looking for, but you will also get a leather bound journal with two additional files inside. One is related to the structure, and the other is the way to open the organ box.
