How to Make a Feedback Resonator in Subnautica 2

Throughout your Subnautica 2 journey, you will be using various tools in all kinds of work, it can be scanning fishmining ore, or even blasting the evil virus plants!

You may have already destroyed a few of these plants, the ones that cause damage to Angel Combs. However, as you advance east, towards the Alien Base and the large Axum Turbine, you may find that the viral buds you find there are more heavily armed than before.

As you swim closer, they close their shells, protecting themselves from your tiny Sonic Resonator. Well, I guess it’s time for an upgrade, don’t you? Let’s take a look at the Feedback Resonator and see where we can get our hands on one.

Resonator areas for feedback

If you’re looking for pieces of this powerful new tool around the Turbine and Alien base, you won’t have far to go. There are actually plenty of these resonator parts to scan for, but you need to go a long way to find them.

An easy place to assemble both resonator pieces is at North-Eastern Root Canyon Biome. You’ll know you’re in the right place as it emits a greenish-yellow light, and there’s a big one Collector Leviathan walking uphill.

Subnautica 2: Where to find Troilite

Deep down no one can hear you scream…

The easiest way to access this area is with the Depth Module in Tadpole. However, if you don’t have this upgrade yet, fear not. Instead, you can start at the top edge of the area and make boats a The Dive Elevator to go down. This will give you plenty of time to look around and look at the resonator pieces.

I found 3 pieces in the root canyon area, alone:

  • First, on the western edge of the yellow pools, you’ll find a table-sized slab.

  • Directly to the east, on one of the slightly higher levels of the area, there is a man-made platform with a blue light that shines in another patch.

  • Finally, just south of the yellow area, there is a small plain filled with white light, and a lot of silver stones. There’s another piece of feedback resonator lying down here.

If you couldn’t get all of these, you can pick up another patch in the Cicada crash directly south of the main Power Station A turbine. The scrap is on the floor in the first room.

Subnautica 2 Answer Resonator Blast

This does everything the Sonic Resonator does, but better. Also, you will need to enable this tool Standard or Advanced batteries.

Once enabled, you can charge this device to emit a strong heartbeat. However, this time, the pulse will travel through the water, allowing you to hit things much further than before. This way you can destroy those strange ones blooms armored without swimming too close.

Once you’ve destroyed all the flowers west and east of the Turbine Angel Comb, you can finally learn the language of Axums and proceed to the last part of Subnautica Early Access.
