PGL Wallachia Season 7 format

PGL Wallachia Season 27 will start with the Group Stage. Sixteen teams will compete in the Swiss fixed format, where group matches will be determined by performance as the tournament progresses. A team is automatically relegated after three losses or promoted after three wins.
The games in the Group Stage are the best of three, and the top eight teams will advance to the Playoffs, with the rest eliminated.
After that, the Playoffs will change to a double-elimination bracket, where teams will fight for one of two spots in the Grand Finals. After a top-five tournament, only one team will walk away with the lion’s share of the $1m prize pool.

Teams will play for the lion’s share of the $1m prize pool, with Season 7 champions earning $300,000 for winning. Unlike other regions, such as the ESL Pro Tour, points will not be assigned to teams to influence qualification for future events.
The tournament is part of PGL’s $13m (~£9.6m) commitment to support the wider MOBA game ecosystem, promising $1m in prize pool money across 13 tournaments from 2025 to 2028.
