ARC Raiders: Where to find Bastions

One of the most challenging enemies in ARC Raiders is the Bastions, a massive machine that can rip through your entire health bar with its turret. However, Bastions also have the most valuable loot in the game, meaning it’s important to hunt them down and defeat them.

To find Bastions in ARC Raiders, you need to know where to look. Although these enemies are large in size, they are usually placed in hidden places and are not found in open areas.

Bastion Areas in Dam Battlefields

There is a chance for the Bastion to appear in two different locations on the Dam Battlegrounds map in ARC Raiders. First, you can find a guarding Bastion near the Red Lakes Balcony on the west side of the map. You can also find the Bastion in the northern areas of the Hydroponics Dome Complex.

Unfortunately, I don’t recommend going to Dam Battlegrounds to fight Bastions, even if they appear here. The reason for this is that they spawn in the open, providing almost zero cover to protect themselves from their turrets.

Bastion locations in Buried City

There is a chance for two Bastions to appear on the Buried City map in ARC Raiders. First, Bastion has a chance to spawn in Marano Park in the northern part of the map.

Players can expect to find the Bastion on the southern side of the map, in the Old Town area. It can be found roaming around the Red Tower and Santa Maria Houses.

Bastion locations at the Blue Gate

After playing on the Blue Gate map for hours, I was lucky enough to find a Bastion in two key locations. The most consistent area is in the checkpoint in the middle of the map. It can be found by a guard in the northern part of the Checkpoint, just inside the tunnel.

I was also lucky enough to find a Bastion near the Ruined Homestead in the Farmlands area of Blue Gate. However, this one isn’t very compatible with Checkpoint Bastion, so I recommend just going there instead.

Of all the ARC Raiders maps, Spaceport is arguably the best for Bastion hunting. There are three places that Bastion can see in the Spaceport: north of the Launch Towers, east of the Launch Towers and south of the Rocket Assembly, and between the Arrival Building and the Departure Building.

Medicine is always important.

Of the three, you’ll have the best luck finding the Bastion north of the Launch Towers. However, I found that the fertility rates of all three areas are fairly consistent, so any search area should work.

Accommodations at Stella Montis

Stella Montis is the only map in ARC Raiders that has a 100% specific Bastion spawn location. There is only one Bastion on the Stella Montis map, and it can be found guarding the lower part of the Loading Bay on the eastern side of the map.

I highly recommend bringing a party with you to take down this Bastion, especially since Stella Montis is a close map and there isn’t much room for error, as escaping can be tricky.
