How Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 will impact esports

NetEase reveal all that comes in Marvel Rivals Season 6.5officially launching on February 13, 2026.
According to the latest Dev Vision, the upcoming content includes the latest hero, Elsa Bloodstone, balance changes, and new features that will affect rare and sports scenes.
Elsa Bloodstone Arrives as a New Artist

His primary weapon of choice is a double-barreled shotgun, and he boasts a variety of abilities. Elsa Bloodstone can use a trap that immobilizes enemies, while staying light on her feet with both dash and uppercut moves.
You have many different options, including shooting a Living Bullet that bounces off walls and splits apart to damage multiple enemies. In addition, he can switch to his gun at any time, firing a single shot that deals extra damage after using a movement ability.
Finally, his ultimate allows him to summon Glartrox, a monster that charges forward and targets enemies caught in its path. Elsa Bloodstone can recall Glartrox, causing the monster to run towards her and any enemies caught in its jaws.
Future Balance Changes

In Vanguard, the characters Rogue and Venom will be blown away, while Doctor Strange will see a little nerve. Thor’s bonus health from Storm Surge has been reduced from 75 to 50, but his Hammer Throw now grants an additional 50 health on hit.
In Duelists, the characters Deadpool, Wolverine, Punisher, Squirrel Girl and Star-Lord are beaten, while Psylocke, Phoenix and Moon Knight are shocked.
Storm gains a range of buffs. Weather Control Tornado mode gives him bonus health when using Wind Blade and Bolt Rush. Thunder mode also reduces the cooldown of Bolt Rush by 0.5 seconds per Wind Blade hit. Finally, Thunder & Lightning’s ally buffs now decay over two seconds instead of disappearing instantly when leaving the aura.
Tactics are also discussed in the mid-season review. Ultron is frustrated, while Loki and Invisible Woman are shocked. Adam Warlock gains the ability to fly for four seconds at full power, and Soul Bond now allows him to attack during the ability.
Team Rotation

With every season update, new changes to Team-Up skills are announced. This includes letting go of old ones while introducing new and modified skills.
Here’s a breakdown of all the Team-Up changes coming in Season 6.5:

New Features Coming to Amazing Rivals

Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 will come with various in-game features that will benefit both casual and competitive players.
Times Square, the in-game community center, will host a wedding care fair on February 14, as well as a Spring Festival performance at a later date, both of which will allow players to earn in-game units.
The in-game tournament will also be held with the Monster Kingdom Championship, and will work in the same way as the PlayStation Cups. From February 21st to the 22nd, players can compete in two or team divisions to earn in-game rewards such as Units, Unstable Molecules, and nameplates.

How Season 6.5 Will Affect Esports

Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 brings a variety of major changes, from the debut of Elsa Bloodstone to the introduction of new Team-Ups, which will impact casual and competitive gameplay.
Only time will tell if Elsa Bloodstone can topple the famous Duelists who dominated Season 6, such as Phoenix, Hawkeye, Hela and Psylocke. It remains to be seen if he will be a popular choice among professional players when the Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 season begins.
Dr. Strange was a popular Vanguard in season 6, as revealed in the Hero Hot List where he was the third most popular character in PC Competitive. With his new Team-Up with Invisible Woman, who is one of the best Strategists in the game as of this writing, the two characters may continue to win in Season 6.5.
