Where To Get All The Hip Bags In The Bad Requiem For Living

Inventory management is, without a doubt, one of the most important aspects of Resident Evil games. Dating back to the first game with The Box, and redefined in Resident Evil 4 with the attached case, the Resident Evil games have always been known for their resource management systems.

Cut to Resident Evil Requiem, where it doesn’t choose between a box or a clip-on case: instead, you get both. You get a case if you play as Leon, but you have to use a box if you play as Grace, which means her inventory is very limited – that is, until you get your hands on Hip bag.

Residents’ Bad Need: All Safe Places and Combinations

No Safe is Safe when you are around.

Hip Pouches increase Grace’s inventory capacity by two squares, and there are a total of five different hip pouches available, three in Rhodes Hill Care Centreand two in MUKHONDO.

And considering the previous inventory space in this game, these bags are very important for items to find and collect. If you’re trying to figure out all the ways you can add your posts, we’ve got you covered. There’s no trophy or anything for getting all the space upgrades, but your lack of going back will thank you for it instead.

Although this article will avoid spoilers for the game’s story, there will be minor spoilers for some of the events.

All Hip Pouches are from Rhodes Hill

Bag 1 – Restaurant

In the Chairman’s Office (where the Moon Puzzle Box is), you’ll find a silver, ornate box sitting to your left of the door on the end table. If you pick it up and examine it, you will see a button behind it; press the button, and you will be given a red gem. This will be the key, so hold on to it for now.

On the way to the Kitchen, you will pass by Restaurantwhich you can use the red gem to open the door and slip inside (especially if you’re trying to hide from the Butcher). In the Parlor, you’ll find a few antique coins, a roulette wheel to play with, and four different locked cases, each containing a different but equally useful item.

In one of these cases, we will get our first Hip bag, which requires ancient coins that you have to use to get it. If you find yourself running low on coins, don’t worry, you can go to any of the various safes locked in Rhodes Hill, and you can get a ton of coins that way. In the maintenance center, each safe should contain four ancient coins that you can use in the Parlor.

Thankfully, the Hip Pouch only costs three ancient coins, so you can spend all you get on any of the other lockers (especially now that you have room for them).

Bag 2 – Installation Room

To find the next hip bag in Rhodes Hill, you’ll need to find one already Level 1 Clearance Wristband so that in this way you can open the door hidden behind. If you don’t have it, go grab it — it’s located in the hallway between the Conference Room and the Lead Researcher’s Office, connected to the dead body on the ground.

After receiving the wristband, proceed to Filling room (on the way to the Cold Storage room), take care of the zombie that went inside, and in that room there is a locked door until you use the wristband on it. Open the door, go inside, and the Hip Pouch is in your plain sight above the drawers.

The bag is also near a wardrobe with twisted wood (talk about a tongue twister) that you can open as Leon, so don’t be afraid to come back here if you’re playing as him.

Bag 3 – Processing

If you’re in the Basement of Rhodes Hill and you’re trying to find all the joint plugs to bring power to the area, there’s a certain remote area, after you’ve used two joint plugs to light your way. You’ll have to crawl through Silent Hill-esque industrial fans to get there It is processingbut once you do, you will notice a Forklift Key down near the body.

Take it and use it on the forklift near you. Doing so will result in finally opening the door that was initially blocked; when you enter, you’ll see a sign detailing a Processing Tank (your other not-so-hidden shadow), and your next Hip Pouch sitting next to some debris.

You can’t find a joint plug on this side, you’ll have to come, but you can take all the other loot from the area with more space.

All ARK Hip bags

Bag 4 — Bioweapon Repository 05 (1/2)

If you come to ARK after you’ve already helped Leon, you’ll complete the main area as Grace, which means more inventory management and more opportunities to expand that inventory. Specifically, when you get to Bioweapon Repository 05you will see that there are individual Umbrella containers, each serving as its own little cubicle.

The first pod you find in the warehouse itself has a Hip Pouch you can grab, make sure you sneak around, as you don’t want to get caught by the enemies here. That is, unless you have enough acid to keep them away.

Bag 5 — Bioweapon Repository 05 (2/2)

It’s still Bioweapon Repository 05, but a little further on, you’ll find the next Hip Pouch in yet another container. This is the last Hip Bag of the game, which means you’ve successfully maxed out your inventory – now get out there and raise hell (and have fun).

That is, until you get to the replay, and you’ll have to get every one of these Hip Bags again. Happily, though, they don’t take places.
