Nintendo Enters Mario x Crocs Partnership to Cover PlayStation Gaming Scene

Today was the case which is appropriate to be all about PlayStation’s big June 2026 State of Play show, but at the last second, Nintendo stepped in and said “Not so soon.” Sending shockwaves throughout the Gaming Industry as a whole, it has now been revealed that there has been a Mario x Crocs collaboration, and fans can pre-order their clogs now.
After Two Mario Movies, It’s Time To Bring Luigi’s House To The Screen
Luigi’s Mansion needs to be a movie to expand Mario’s cinematic universe.
Jokes aside, I absolutely love Mario, and I will go to my grave a Crocs patron and believer. In fact, I recently converted two of my best friends to the Gospel of Croc, and both are now fully converted.
Despite worldwide success and decades of disappointment at this point, the past few years have seen Mario (Tennis) Fever perhaps peak, and these new Mario-themed Crocs are just another example of his current stratospheric popularity.
Five different Mario-themed Crocs are coming on July 15
Founded back in 2002, Crocs have been producing their brand of soft, surprisingly supportive resin clogs for quite some time now. I’ve had a few pairs, and if you ask me about them, I won’t shut up about their benefits and comfort. Heck, I had a recent trip to Disney World, and Crocs with socks saved my feet on Day Two of theme park hopping. Don’t knock it till you try it.
Anyway, starting now on the Crocs website, fans of both Mario and cozy clogs alike can choose between five different pairs of Mario-inspired Crocs for pre-order, with delivery expected on July 15 of this year (just in time for everything you do for the rest of your life afterwards).
I absolutely love Mario, and I will go to my grave a Crocs defender and believer.
The Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Yoshi-themed pairs are all on sale for $79.99, while the non-Classic Mario character clogs are a little cheaper at a cool $69.99. The difference in price seems to be that the character’s clogs all have some sort of 3D protrusion, each with their own character theme. For example, Mario’s clogs include his iconic cap, and Yoshis features his dino-spines running down the front of the shoe.
For kids, they’ll be discounted to Classic Mario clogs only, which will set them back $54.99 in their piggy banks.
Don’t Forget Those Sweet Jibbitz
Trust me, I know what you’re thinking. “I already have several pairs of Crocs, what if I want to grab a Jibbitz to complete my Mario x Croc look without going out for a new pair?” Brothers and sisters, you’re in luck, as you can also pre-order two different packs of Mario-themed Jibbitz (heroes or villains) to decorate two standard Crocs. These Jibbitz packs are $19.99 each, and will be released again on July 15th.
Crocs and Nintendo also said that in addition to being able to pre-order from the Crocs website directly, they will also be available in person at the Nintendo Store, as well as select partners around the world.
Real talk, I really think this is one of the best collaborations Crocs has done in their ever-growing list of licensed partners. We’ve seen NFL teams, Spongebob, Dragonball Z, Fortnite, and several other iterations of Crocs at this point. But at the end of the day, Mario is cooler than any of the other options. We all know it. Time to show it on your feet. Let’s go… to console.
