The gun is arguably the player’s strongest asset during battles, as it can be used to deal massive damage and throw enemies far away. However, not all pistols are created equal and some are far superior to others.

Captain Drake’s Flintlocks
Instant Kill Captains
Of all the Legendary Pistols in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Captain Drake’s Flintlocks are arguably the worst. However, they are still considered the best of all the Rare and Common pistols in the game. Captain Drake’s Flitlocks come with a range of 24, which is excellent, and an impressive draw speed of 1.20.
Its perk sounds good on paper, where it kills Captains instantly (except bosses), but that’s actually not that good when you think about it. The captains aren’t too hard to start with, but being able to kill them quickly makes it easier to get rid of ships quickly when you board.
Players can purchase Captain Drake’s Flintlocks from the secret General Store on an unmarked island. The coordinates of this island are 550,638.

Dark Duty Guns
Stealth Equals No Ammo Consumption
Darkworker’s Pistols are a stealth player’s dream as they can help them defeat multiple enemies while remaining undetected. These Legendary Pistols allow you to not waste any ammo when shooting enemies in the shadows, such as hiding in a tree, rooftop, etc.
Additionally, Darkworker’s Pistols come with a respectable range of 22 and a maximum draw speed of 1.50. In other words, players using this gun can expect to shoot faster as it has the highest draw speed stats in the entire game.
Fortunately, the Darkworker’s Pistols are included in the deluxe edition of the game as part of the Master Assassin pack.

Ways of Peace
Silence the gun
While the Peaceful Means Legendary Pistol doesn’t have the greatest stats, only having a range of 20 and a draw speed of 1.00, its unique perk makes up for it. Instead of making a loud noise, alerting all nearby enemies of your location, each of these guns is very quiet.
Since you won’t make much noise when firing the Peaceful Means gun, you can be a great killer from stealth mode. When I used this gun, I was able to clear several enemies from the forest before they had any idea where I was. In other words, it makes stealth a lot easier.
If you’re looking to get the Peaceful Means gun, you can buy it from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua for 5,000 Reales, 3x Capuchin Monkey Pelt, 4x Iguana Leather, and 20x Rum Barrels.

Rustic Flintlocks
A Perfect Dodge to Prevent Ammo Consumption
The Rustic Flitlocks Legendary Pistol is probably my favorite in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. It comes equipped with a solid range of 22, a nice draw speed of 1.20, and a perk that’s incredibly fun to use if you’re a dodger. After performing a Perfect Dodge, rapid fire does not consume ammunition.
Simply put, if you master Perfect Dodge during combat, you won’t need to use any of your bullets. Jumping between Perfect Dodge and Quick Shot again and again without losing ammo will make groups of enemies easier to kill and make you defeat them much faster.
The good news is that players can get Rustic Flintlocks right away. Just go to the store tab on the in-game map and claim it for free.

Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks
Deal Damage to Multiple Enemies
Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks are legendary guns that offer a way to deal damage to multiple targets at once, almost like a shotgun. Every time you shoot an enemy, that bullet will shoot straight at the second stone, dealing damage to it as well. This makes secondary targets easier to defeat once you have your full attention.
Besides its very useful advantage, Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks also have a good range of 22, which allows you to shoot more enemies from a distance. Although its draw speed is not very high, its perk and range help it.
Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks can be found in the Eye in the Dark Project on the Animus screen. You will need to complete the Puzzle to earn enough Data Pieces to unlock it.

Golden Flintlock Pistols
Time to Reduce
The best guns in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced are the Golden Flintlock Pistols. These Legendary Pistols come equipped with a stat range of 28, the highest in the game, and a solid draw speed of 1.20. However, what makes these stand out the most, is its time-reducing perk.
Every time you kill an enemy with these guns, time will slow down. The reason this is so useful is because it makes it easier to land headshots on surrounding enemies, slowing them down even longer. In simple words, you can put on a killing streak with these guns, as long as you keep shooting heads.
Players can find Golden Flintlock Pistols at the General Store in Great Inagua. It costs 18,000 Reales, so I would recommend you start saving if you don’t have enough.
