Pokémon GO Players Have A New Reason To Check Out The UK This Season

It’s an exciting time to be a Pokémon GO fan, especially if you’re in the UK. There’s a summer of fun to be had exploring the great outdoors across National Trust sites with new trails, gyms, Raids, and plenty of PokéStops to encounter on your travels.

Additionally, with Pokémon GO’s tenth birthday fast approaching, there’s a Pokémon GO Summer Quest to look forward to for UK players to mark the milestone.

Despite traveling to certain sites required to take part in some of the Pokémon GO summer games, Trainers across the UK will be able to get in on the action, thanks to nationwide event segments. Rewards include free-time research, dedicated Raids, and grand prizes, including a trip to Japan or Pokémon GO Fest 2027.

Pokémon GO Summer Quest

Pokémon GO is a summer quest event in London

Pokémon GO Trainers can attend the Pokémon GO Summer Quest event by The Green at Boxpark, Shoreditch, London, to celebrate the mobile game’s tenth anniversary.

As announced on the Pokémon GO blog, the Summer Quest will offer those in attendance an exclusive Timed Research. You’ll be able to access this timed survey by opening Pokémon GO at a designated event location between August 1 at 10 am and August 2 at 11:59 pm, or between August 8 at 10 am and August 9 at 11:59 pm.

Coaches across the UK will be able to get in on the action, thanks to national event segments.

After completing a local Time Trial opportunity, you’ll be able to use the in-game “What’s Your Favorite” feature to snap a photo and share it on Instagram for a chance to win a five-night stay for two in Japan.

Similar to the National Trust event, there will be a Pokémon GO Summer Quest celebration taking place across the country, so that Pokémon GO’s tenth birthday can be celebrated across the country. From August 1st at 10 am until August 9th at 11:59 pm, expect to see the free Summer Quest timed survey in the Events tab.

By completing this timed survey, you’ll also be able to use the “What’s Your Favorite” feature to take an Instagram-worthy photo for a chance to win a trip for two to Pokémon GO Fest 2027 in Europe.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to travel across the UK this summer, Pokémon GO has got you covered. Even better, you can earn prizes and catch various Pokémon along the way. Let’s just hope the unpredictable UK weather doesn’t dampen the celebrations!
