How to Get Mimog Effigy

Effigies have been on Palworld for a while, but with the arrival of 1.0 update, added a bunch, allowing us to improve further character player!
One of the most interesting images added was the Mimog Effigy, which is not available in the traditional sense. Many icons reside on small plinths throughout the game world, requiring you to interact with them. However, Mimog Effigy takes a different approach: it’s more interactive and, overall, more interesting!
So, how can we save these images, and what kinds of bonuses can we expect to receive? Let’s get into it!
Finding Mimog Effigies
You’ll know Mimog as the sneaky little Pal that stays still, looking like a basic chest, until you fight or try to capture it. From there, it will take off at lightning speed if you fail.
Fortunately, the sculptures have little to do with Pal itself, relying on capture rather than conquest. I’m sure, as many of you know, you get a good amount of XP first 5 captures of Pal. Once these 5 captures are completed, you’ll get a small golden circle next to Pal’s name, and a Mimog Effigy.
If you want to check your Effigies, just go to the Essentials section of your inventory.
With this in mind, one of the best ways to level up while getting a bunch of statues is to go back to earlier stages of the game once you have them. better developed Pal Spheresthen shoot every low level Pal you see until you get 5 of everything.
This capture will be easy with your gear, especially if you have something like Ring of Gracewhich always leaves Pals at 1 HP.
Spending Effigy Points
If you haven’t figured out how to use these points, or didn’t realize you could, Effigies give players small bonuses to their stats, even if that adds up. Capture Strength, Swimming Ability, or Sphere Tracking.
You can upgrade these properties to a Statue Of Power, which can be found in many churches scattered on the map.
However, you can choose to skip the week section altogether, and instead simply build your image back from the base if you like, with the following items:
- 20x Stone
- 10x Paldium Fragment
Once you have the Power Template, scroll down, and you will find the Movement Speed option bottom right. This will, as you can imagine, improve your character’s movement speed.
While the movement speed bonus will not overcome moving with a fast flight Palit’s really nice to have a passive bonus that builds up over time by doing something that works as part of the main game loop! Happy hunting folks!
