Not convertible to Web3 Gaming
Immutable is a Web3 gaming platform and ecosystem built to help developers build, launch, and scale blockchain-enabled games with digital asset ownership and scalable infrastructure.
Founded in 2018, the company first introduced Immutable X, a Layer 2 network built with zero-information rollups to reduce transaction costs and improve the speed of NFTs and in-game assets on the Ethereum network.
Since then, Immutable has expanded with Immutable zkEVM, an Ethereum-compatible network designed specifically for the gaming economy.
The ecosystem now supports hundreds of titles and offers onboarding tools such as Immutable Passport, frictionless wallets, digitalization tools, and gasless marketplaces. These features allow players to buy, sell, and trade digital assets while maintaining direct ownership.
Immutable Web3 Expansion and Network Development
Meanwhile, Immutable confirmed on January 28 that its long-planned merger of Immutable X and Immutable zkEVM is nearing completion.
The company revealed that all games and stake contracts have already migrated, and both Sandbox and Testnet chains have been integrated.
