10 Tips and Tricks We Wish We Knew Soon

After a good amount of time playing Mewgenics, I’ve come to realize that there’s a lot the game doesn’t tell you. The creators give you valuables and send you into a big, blind and ignorant world.

However, if I had some tips to share, well, let’s just say I wouldn’t spend so much time dying. the Desertthat is true. Mewgenics is a ridiculously deep game that can honestly be enjoyed for hundreds of hours, if not more. But for some, that journey will end before it begins.

If you want to get past the initial struggle and get onto the good stuff, check out these top tips!

Sometimes It’s OK to Do Nothing!

Is this Laziness… or Strategy?

You know that feeling: you’ve started meeting, and the room is full of enemies. You are in one corner, and they are all in the other. Who points to him first? Do you have enough movement? Will the turn order hurt you? What about manna?

Well, if I tell you, you can’t do anything! Honestly, sometimes if you send your fighter or thief to grab a shy backstab, you can end up surrounded by enemies and taken down before any of your allies can take their turn.

Instead, let your enemies come to you. Save your mana and save it for a powerful round 2! There is nothing wrong with patience.

Position is Key

Don’t Show Your Butt To The Enemy!

Mewgenics Throbbing King

Where do I start with this? Most people know by now that you get enhanced hits by hitting enemies from behind. However, this also applies to you. After you finish your time, click the direction to open your cat, and prevent them from being attacked aimlessly.

In addition, be aware of field hazards. Water conducts electricity, wind spreads fire, ice makes units slippery, etc. Sometimes it’s best to place your cat somewhere where your opponent doesn’t have a line of sight. Use the field to your advantage and try to predict your enemy’s movements. Right click on them measuring their movement and attack radius.

Homeless Cats for Homeowners

Sorry, Whiskers, Today is not your day!

Mewgenics Mewgenics House Wars 1-1

Guillotina is in spaceand she looks crazy! You just finished the day, and your dream team is ready. But suddenly, your cats fight, and one of them dies. Now your chances of winning over the house manager are very slim.

Well, don’t worry about it. Instead, just grab a homeless cat from your door and drop it in the box. Yes, you’re guaranteed to lose, but your prized cats will live another day, and you get a free dead cat to feed the weird dead man! Win Win!

Furniture can share bonuses House-Wide

Does it appeal? You flatter me!

Mewgenics Complaint Statistics

Getting more furniture is one of the most important things you can do in Mewgenics. Each episode has bonuses that greatly affect the growth and breeding of your cats.

Mewgenics: The Furniture Guide

Well, I wouldn’t call it cool… but it’s better than nothing!

However, did you know that complaint statistics affect the whole house, and not limited to certain rooms like other figures? This means that, if you’ve upgraded your house to have a few rooms, you can put every piece that offers only Appeal in its own room, saving space for a big change and a super boost in your main breeding room.

My Sweet Dreams

Mewgenics changes

Speaking of genetic modification, you may have noticed Baby Jack selling genetically modified furniture in his store. Generally, these are very expensive and come with drawbacks, but they are very important.

Sometimes at night, your cats have a chance to evolve, giving them special transformations that improve their stats and abilities. These can be scaled up along with base stats, allowing you to create perfect monsters! Just be careful not to overfill, or you will end up with negative changes.

Modifications can also be provided at runtime with random events or a shiny weather function. They may not look like cats anymore, but I think it’s more about spirit than looks… right?

5

Level Up those NPCs FAST

I am a person who lives in the heart

Mewgenics Dr. Beanies

Leveling up your NPC unlocks ridiculously powerful rewards for your progress through Mewgenics. For example, passionate breeders can use Tink to better monitor their cats and view their hidden stats.

Butch upgrades the warehouse, Frank upgrades your house, too Tracy can sell you super powerful Idols later on. You may find that after getting comfortable with the 3rd chapter run, you have too much food.

If you don’t want to waste, just spend as much as you can to raise a bunch of unwanted cats and raise Tink and Tracy with kittens or kittens 5+ years old. More often than not, having low level NPCs is a hindrance that prevents you from reaching the actual late game.

4

Battle Time is Flexible

It’s Not a Race

Mewgenics Wisp

Weird: At the beginning of Mewgenics, you are taught that finishing battles quickly is better, as it will earn you coins and more food at the end of the battle.

However, that is not really the case. After a normal encounter, you probably won’t earn more than a few coins, even if you finish the fight in 1 turn. If so, it’s better to go around the room picking up things on the floor. Just leave 1 weak enemy alive, and kite them around.

In addition, if you have a Cleric or Druid, use the free time to heal your party to perfection. This is more important than the end-of-battle rewards. So don’t worry too much. Just don’t allow it Fatigue phase start.

3

See Skill Combinations

Turns out, Rocks Taste Good

Mewgenics Druid Combo

When you start your Mewgenics journey, it can be tempting to just see an ability with high damage or mana and grab it, not really understanding what it means or your decisions.

As you progress, you’ll see that there are hundreds of powerful combinations that will make your cats ridiculously powerful. For example, if you have a tank with the ability to eat rocks, you can eat rocks and get weapons. Good! However, if you can harm your enemy, you can devour him, kill them with one shot!

Or maybe you want a Necromancer that has the ability to sacrifice their health to deal damage, then get it all back Giga Drain. Or a butcher with Binge and HP Overflow. Add a priest, and suddenly you’ve got an endless monster.

It is very easy to find strength with the right options; you have to think ahead and hope that the right skills will emerge.

2

Take Care of Your Property

My precious!

I wish someone had told me about this before I went on my first quest. If you complete the side quests of Dr. Beanie, you’ll always think about random debugging that gives you a negative impact on your performance.

However, what you may not be thinking about is the real thing itself, as in, the physical thing attached to your character. Certain enemies in Mewgenics have the ability to destroy equipment your cats are wearing.

For example, the Skull Slimes in the Sewers, or the Amoeba in Act 2. The attack of these enemies will destroy the things that are wanted on the side, making all your work a complete waste of time. So, if you see these enemies, put your wanted cat in a corner, or try to get these enemies away. For a long time, the Influence Device…

Items destroyed in this way cannot be returned immediately. You will need to give Dr. Beanie 5 more mutant cats before they have a chance to give you an item again.

1

Losing Cats Can Be Extra!

Very Good

Mewgenics Tanza Butcher

At first, losing a cat while running can seem like a death sentence. Are you now 25% weaker? Well… not really.

In fact, reducing the size of your group can be very beneficial in certain situations. Each cat on the move takes a portion of the XP from the fight. This means that if you have several cats or a cat with a Neverstone, others will get more XP.

Many amazing skills and combos are unlocked in later levels, however sometimes, with 4 cats, you won’t reach these limits until later, unless you bought a rare candy.

I had a run where two of my cats died against the Crater Maker in Act 2. Most people will tell you to know when to quit, but I say the opposite. Always stay in that last race. I only had the Butcher and the Master, but with the skills I mentioned before, I was able to taunt and bypass the Butcher, so he ended up with over 300 health in the fight against The Man in the Moon.

Sometimes, getting your team right and cutting extra fat can make them more efficient and powerful. Sometimes less is more!
