Oddin.gg 2025 betting review reveals market maturity

Oddin.gg 2025 Esports Betting Review

Esports betting provider Oddin.gg has released its second annual Esports betting update, which looks at how the industry has changed in 2025 based on bets made through a network of global partners.

The report, in particular, highlights the top five games: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, VALORANT, and, for the first time, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. All of these games saw double-digit growth from one year to the next, according to the company.

The main discussion in the 2025 plan is that growth alone is no longer the best sign of a healthy market. Oddin.gg’s analysis shows that 2025 showed a clear difference in how each topic does business.

These differences include the dominance of live betting, the rise of statistics, the immediacy of player-focused markets, and strong regional league affiliations, all of which are signs of maturity. Most importantly, those symptoms were not equally evident in all subjects.

Key Data Points and Market Context

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is featured in the report for the first time, recording a 41% year-on-year increase in betting volume and a 62% increase in betting volume, reflecting the growth in mobile sports trading volume in regionally driven markets.

Compared to other esports, Counter-Strike 2 betting volume growth was 30%, while Dota 2 and League of Legends grew 31% and 46%, respectively.

The report also builds on data from the previous edition, which found that betting volume across Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT continued to rise. Of those titles, League of Legends recorded the highest bet volume growth, up 32%.

Another interesting statistic that Oddin shared was the average betting amount for selected international sporting events. According to its data, the average bet on VALORANT Champions 2025 was €47 (~£40), which is a 21% increase year-on-year. The average bet for League of Legends Worlds increased by 166% to €77 (~£66).

Marek Suchar, Founder and Managing Director at Oddin.ggcommented: “Billions of bets flow through the Oddin.gg network every year, giving us sports betting learnings that are hard to find anywhere else. We’ve spent years innovating to drive the industry forward.”

“Watching the industry grow in 2025 was reassuring; this is the situation we were building towards.”

Oddin.gg currently powers over 300 operators and platform providers worldwide and has licenses in Arizona, New Jersey, Colorado, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Ontario, Canada.
