2026 officially brings us the long-awaited sequel to SiN, the classic shooter from Ritual Entertainment that stole everyone’s hearts in 1998.
At the time of its original release, SiN turned everyone’s heads with its amazing use of the Quake II engine, boasting excellent graphics and levels full of interactive elements. Its story portrays you as security consultant Colonel John R. Blade, who must hunt down the gangster Dr. Elexis Sinclaire – a scientist who invented a drug that changes human DNA to create an army of mutated (and, in fact, bad) genes.
According to the Steam listing, SiN: Reloaded is full of modern enhancements while staying true to its roots. This package includes both the expansion pack SiN and Wages of SiN, all enhanced with a complete visual overhaul that offers certain features worthy of every old-school shooter fan: HD textures and models, 4K resolution, anti-aliasing, newly mixed soundtrack, and even updated 2D menu art.
Beyond the graphics, the remaster also aims to introduce modern interactions and control schemes, alongside improved maps throughout the game. For purists, there is the ability to switch between original and updated visuals (including the SiN Gold version).
