Finding the ins and outs of a new map when playing ARC Raider for the first time can be a daunting task. Dozens of buildings, hundreds of doors, a strange ARC is hunting you, all the while you don’t know where to start. Lucky indeed.
For me, this was The Green Gate map. However, once you’ve explored a bit, you’ll see that there are quite a few good places to collect good loot, if you know where to go, of course.
ARC Raiders: Where to Use the Blue Gate Location Key
Surprisingly good loot for simple key machines.
The traffic tunnel, although dangerous, is a beautiful place because of the armed patrol cars parked inside. If you can find a car key, you can open one of these for guaranteed loot! So what are we waiting for? Let’s get into it.
Where to Find the Key
Before you even think about setting foot in the traffic tunnel, you must first put your hands on the keys. There are 2 ways to do this.
The easiest way to complete the file Quest for Prime Specmen given to Shani. When you complete this quest, you will receive a Key to the Waiting Car as a reward. In addition, this also initiates a sequential quest called Transport of Arms.

If you don’t have a key, you can get it by checking the security booths at the Blue Gate checkpoint. You’ll just have to hope you get there before someone else does!
Where to Find a Patrol Car
Entering the Tunnel
There are several ways to get inside the Traffic Tunnel. You can go due north from the checkpoint. However, at the beginning of the game, there will be a ridiculous amount of enemies gathered here. Traveling alone is a recipe for disaster.
Instead, you can enter from above by using one of the many straight lines or stairs leading directly to the tunnel. It’s best to stick to the edges of the tunnel itself, as you’re usually crawling with grounded ARC units and often. Bastions again!
Opening the car
Once inside, you need to look for armored patrol cars. They are much bigger and bigger than normal cars that you can break.
There is about 8 in these cars you can use the key. You can easily tell which loot is holding the loot light shining above the back door.
However, not all will be available for loot. This completely random and it changes every time you map the Blue Gate. This is why it is so important to get out of traffic lanes as quickly as possible. This is a very popular place to rob because of patrol cars, so act fast.
Be sure to go to the map with custom loading. This will almost ensure that you start at the beginning of a new round, rather than in the middle.
If you want to search without making a lot of noise, look for a shining light in the dark and bring a photoelectric jacket. As soon as you find one car without a lock, move on to the next. Complete a large circle around the traffic tunnel, and you will definitely find one.
As soon as you find the stolen car, use your key, and you will get it guaranteed Gun Cache inside.
