How to Defeat Echo Amoxliatl in Leagues VI OSRS

By now, most of you will have already memorized League 6 in Old School Runescape. There are hundreds of missions to complete, millions of XP to earn, and dozens of bosses to take down with your powerful new skills!

Echo Bosses is a special version of the tough boss mode taken from League 5, and now, with the new League starting in Varlamore, we have access to Echo Amoxliatl.

If you want to unlock your true potential new fighting skillsyou have no choice but to enter the icy caves and fight this fearsome enemy. Naturally, this is not an easy battle, but with the right gear and the right knowledge, this shouldn’t be too much of a challenge!

Let’s get ready to fight and find out what it takes to defeat Echo Amoxliatl.

Echo Amoxliatl requirements

Echo Amoxliatl can be accessed early in the league, and doesn’t have many startup requirements. Here is a quick checklist of essential requirements:

• Heart of Darkness Quest Completed
• Varlamore Echo Orb Found (1/40)
• Prayer Level 37 for Protection from Magic

This application can be accessed via 55 Mining, 28 Stealing, 48 Slayer, 46 Agility. This quest requires you to kill a regular Amoxliatl, giving you a small taste of what’s to come.

You will have to kill this boss many times before you get the Echo orb, so get used to the attacks that extinguish your prayers. This will be important! Once you have the orb, it has unlimited uses, so you don’t need to farm it again, or you could die against the Echo Variant.

Getting ready

In fact, you can do this battle without taking too much damage, simply by avoiding Amoxliatl’s attacks correctly, but this is not very easy, unless you have already done the battle a few times.

So, to make it easier, you might as well get your chosen fighting style as high as possible before going into battle. Although it is certainly not a strict requirement, try to hold at least one one of the last stones of your Demonic Pact Tree before you do this battle. The ultimate capstone always gives you super power, so it’s a no-brainer.

• When you play Magicyou should probably be able to attack with bonfires then hold a pact that reduces the firing speed of the spellbook by 2. Or if you have a powerful wand at this point, hold a deal that reduces the characters speed by 3 ticks. Although you may not have a lot of accuracy, if you attack very quickly, you will definitely hit.

• When you play MeleeBlindbag works well here. Just make sure you deliver decent speed Coat the weapon. Also make sure you have your 5 Heavy weapons in your inventory, ready to go. Something like Glacial Temotli works well here.

• When you play DistanceThe Crossbow layout works like a charm here. Make sure you grab it Max hit the capstone and one that doubles your accuracy to make sure you hit every time. I Hunter’s Sunlight Crossbow available early and at full capacity.

You don’t need amazing weapons here, just the right amount of food and a little prayer. Once you understand the attack pattern, you should be fine.

How to beat Echo Amoxliatl

Section 1

As soon as you enter the Echo arena, the first thing you need to do is turn it on Protect from Magic. If you like, link this to your fast prayers, and your favorite battle prayer.

As soon as Echo Amoxliatl starts attacking, you need to move one square free tile. You will notice that, along with its normal magic attack, the boss will send another one an unstoppable projectile that marks the ground where it sits. Now, if you move to that tile, you will take unavoidable damage, effectively preventing it.

In addition, when the projectile hits the ground, it will cause a ring of nails explosion around. Because of this, it is important that you go alone 1 square at a timeand don’t run the wrong way around the arena, or you’ll get caught by the spikes outside as you go. This projectile is only possible every 4 ticks, giving you plenty of time to attack and move. Focus on avoiding attacks rather than dealing damage.

As soon as he saw Amoxliatl he said, “Rani is growing inside me“, the boss will cover a small part of the ground with spikes and will close your prayers. First, quickly move away from the affected bottom tiles, then open your prayers and start attacking again.

Section 2

The next phase will begin soon as Amoxliatl said, “Let the darkness consume you”, around 250 life. Also, you will be hit by the previous machine, forcing you to avoid the spikes and open your prayers again.

However, this time, the boss will go into a kind of angry mode. Now the projectiles will come every 2 ticksso you need to move more often. Most weapons won’t be able to attack this fast, so, just move 1 tile every 1.2 seconds and every 2nd or 3rd tile, attack the boss once, and keep moving.

If you want, try to get into a rhythm of movement without attacking for a while. This will improve your timing skills while keeping you from taking any damage. At this point, once you’ve done the damage, eat a piece of food and eat the Karambwan as you go. Once you have full health, feel free to start attacking again.

Echo Amoxliatl Rewards

The first time you kill Echo Amoxliatl, you will gain the following:

• 80 League Points
• 1 Demonic Pact
• 1 Full Tree Reset

If you feel like you messed up building your Demonic Pact tree, now is a good time to reset and try another fighting style.

In addition, every time you kill this Echo boss, you will have a chance to receive it Infernal Tecpatl. This is a dual weapon that effectively combines all Nagua two-handed weapons.

Not only does it have the bonus of high power, but it also has an inbuilt demon result if you plan to use it against something like it Cerberus or Doom of Mokhiatl. This gives a 10% increased accuracy and damage, as well heavy mode, making it ideal for early-game Blindbag users.

Finally, this weapon also has a special attack called Brand. This allows you to attack 4 times at once, similar to the Dragon Dagger special attack.

This has a 1/30 rate of descent from Echo Amoxliatl. However, and has a dry protection guarantee after 60 killsso you don’t waste too much time here. Naturally, when you kill this boss, you’ll get a scroll from the regular loot table and a scroll for the Echo weapon.

League Activities

The thing is, because you’ve defeated this boss a few times and earned the Demonic Pact rewards, there’s more reason to stay and grind the boss for a while. Leagues are always talking about jobs and league points, so here are a few that you can ignore, or at least work on while you’re perfecting this boss:

• Amoxliatl Combat Achievements – 80 Points
• Defeat Amoxliatl 50 times – 80 points
• Defeat 25 Echo Bosses – 80 Points
• Equip 1 Unique Echo Item – 80 Points
• Defeat 75 Echo Bosses – 200 Points
• Defeat 150 Echo Bosses – 200 Points
• Equip Glacial Temotli – 30 points
• Equip the Pendant of Ates – 30 points

And once you get it Pendant of Ates from Amoxliatl, you can go and activate all templates to get more points. Tasks in Teams are always the same, so try to do as many as you can before moving on to the next big thing!
