How to Complete the Avian Alarm Project in ARC Raiders

With a new update comes a new project, and today, we’re looking at some birds! But seriously, these birds are very important in fighting the ARC threat. Not only do they provide cool camaraderie to our underground allies, but they also seem to alert our attackers to the impending presence of ARC units! It is really useful.

The new ARC Raiders Riven Tides update introduced not only a new map, but also an interesting new collection in the form of small boats! Naturally, these boats will be very important to the success of this new project. What do boats have to do with bird alarms? I’m not sure… but better not to ask, right?

Let’s take a look at the 5 stages of the new project and how to gather the necessary materials to get it done!

Entry of the First Herd

Unlike other projects, before you can start donating your collection, you’ll need to complete a little work.

Go to Map of Riven Tides and start walking towards the beach. There are several places along the beach where you can place bird cages. Another easy one to find is this one directly north of the Port Authority Building. Look for the big red Buoy and place the cage under it.

You can literally do this in the first few minutes of the game. At this point, complete the round or head straight back to Speranza to complete the first phase of the Project.

After completing this section, you will receive the following:

• 1x Dockmaster Detector
• 25 Raider Tokens

Birds of Early Signs

From here, we return to the standard format of Projects. It’s your job to go out to various maps and collect a bunch of stuff to help build the project. It makes sense to go out to various maps, as it’s much easier to collect items on maps that benefit that class. But don’t worry, you’ll still have a great time at Riven Tides.

The second phase of the Project requires the following items:

• 7x Marking Card
• 20x bottle
• 12x mist
• 5x Twilight Compass Ship Model

If you haven’t found the ships yet, this is a new collectible trinket that can be found scattered throughout the Rustbelt. They are 5 types of ships, 1 of each rare.

While Beachcombing on Riven Tides with the youth Dockmasters Detector is a decent way to find these boats, this method can be slow and somewhat inconsistent.

If you want, you can actually go out to different maps and look at ships this way. I found that looking at places with a lot of trinkets, for example, i Wooden houses in Buried City be many rare green and blue ships. If you want to get stuck into the new map, however, try the hotel, as many ships will spawn there.

For moss, the easiest way to get it is from wetland, to Dam battlefields. All greenhouses have moss growing machines. You will easily catch 12 in 1 game if you go there early. In the worst case, you can even buy 5 mosses from it Celeste every day.

After completing this section, you will receive the following:

• 1x Heavy Gun Parts
• 3x Surgical Coil
• 25x Raider Tokens

Birds of second confirmation

The previous section was very easy, and this one is next, it has a lot of things that are not too difficult to come across. Here is a list of what you will need:

• 3 Comet Igniter
• 10x Fertilizer
• 8x Rusty Tools
• 5x Velocity Ship Model

The comet was introduced in the Shrouded Sky update, and it can be a real pain to deal with. They will be a barrel to you and explode in your face. To get the igniter, you need to destroy it before it explodes. The best way to do this is to either shoot it from a distance or wait for it to open up and use one hullcracker round to deal a lot of damage.

Fertilizer is best collected in the swamps of Damn Battlegrounds, while Rusty Tools can be found in Machinery locations, such as heavy crates or buses.

The Velocity Ship Model is very similar to the previous Twilight Compass model, only rarer. Also, check out places like Ruby Residence or Grandioso Apartments at the beginning of the game.

After completing this section, you will receive the following:

• 1x Donkey IV
• 1x Anvil Splitter
• 50x Raider Tokens

High Alert Birds

OK, this is where the prerequisites start to get a little tricky. Here are the things you’ll need to collect:

• 1x Vaporiser Controller
• 3x Water Filter
• 8 Agave
• 5x Sirena Dorata Ship Model

Let’s get the easy ones out of the way first. You’ve no doubt encountered Agave before. It is found in maps like Buried City, with plants around the perimeter. Water Filters can be found in industrial areas and are very common under map conditions such as Night Raid.

According to Vaporiser Regulators, your best bet is to get on the map with Turn off the Scrutiny Map Status active. Wherever large loot containers spawn, Vaporisers will be nearby, usually spawning in pairs. Try to get in with the mob and take down the Vaporisers with the Hullcracker. Go in as fast as it lands and throw down a Smoke Grenade. You only need 1 controller, so don’t be jealous.

Depending on the Epic rarity Ship Model, this one will take a lot longer. You can also get this through beachcombing, or from lootable containers in Riven Tides. If you have Hotel key cardsyou have a very good chance of finding Sirena inside, so do these calculations.

After completing this section, you will receive the following:

• 1x Gel Patches (Cosmetic)
• 1x Riven Tides Hotel Keycard No. 311
• 50x Raider Tokens

Serious Warning Birds

Finally, you’ve reached the final stage of the project, and as you’d expect, it’s a brutal one. At this point, you’ll want to save as much of the metal detector as possible. These can be found in Metal Crates around Riven Tides. Here is a list of things you will need to gather:

• 2x Turbine Compressor
• 3x Red Coral Jewelry
• 4x roots
• 1x Leviathan Ship Model

Again, let’s check the simple stuff. Jewelery can be found at Old World and Settlements places, where many trinkets. This is very easy to find, especially in the case of a high value map.

As for roots, these are easy to find if you know where to look. They can be found in the collapsible, common beach coolers north of the Hotel on Riven Tides. In addition, you can find them in kitchen areas, such as Stella Montis Atrium. They can also be found under certain trees in Riven Tides. These will be more common in Green Flowers event.

In accordance with Turbine Compressor, you will need to lower the rest Turbineswhich is a major new ARC released along with Riven Tides. This can appear on various open maps, but usually only appears roughly in the middle in the round.

The best way to deal with these ARCs is by shooting at their shields while they are down. You can get a few shots in, hide a bit, wait for the Turbine to go back down, then rinse and repeat. This is slow, but it will ensure that in the end. You can try to take it out while it’s in the air, but the lightning will take you down much faster if you’re not under cover.

Finally, we have Leviathan ship model, which is exclusively found on the coast to combine the Map Condition in Riven Tides. That’s why I said he keeps the metal detector stuff.

This ship model can only be found in buried suitcases. Some maps will have lucky seeds, making this more common. You can usually tell when you get it 5+ items in a suitcaseyou are crazy about the luck of combing the sea. If you get only 3, you have to reload the same and try again. This may take a long time to find, as the chances of finding suitcases are very poor. But at least you only need 1. Silver Linings, am I right?

To complete the last section, you will receive the following:

• 1x Birdhouse Backpack Attachment
• 1x Fist in Air Emote
• 1x Acoustic Guitar
• 100x Raider Tokens

With this last step, you will have completed the Avian Alarm Project.
