Not only that, it’s refreshing to have so many ways to build your wardrobe without pulling the strings.

With the arrival of the season update All Spirits Return (2.5), there are a number of items that you can earn just by completing tasks and quests in the open world (eg — Robe of Whispering Dreams). Another look that’s easy to overlook is the Chromatic Comet dress. If you want to add this ridiculously beautiful collection to Nikki’s closet, here’s how to unlock it.

How to Complete Curio Domains in Infinity Nikki

Curio Domains is a separate mini-game from Infinity Nikki that has been around since the game’s release. They can be found in almost every region of Miraland, except the Sea of Stars. They are usually easy to spot in the open world, as they look like a floating pink cube from a distance.

When you approach them, they will change into a portal that you can enter to complete the mini-game puzzle inside. Each Curio Domain puzzle is unique, meaning the objectives and methods to complete it will be different. Sometimes it’s just a matter of moving boxes in a way that opens the way to the exit goal, or using one of your skill suits to complete unique tasks using said skill.

Every time you complete a Curio Domain you’ll earn a Whimstar for your efforts, and the cube will turn white, indicating its completion, so players won’t get confused about which ones they’ve done. Sometimes completing a certain amount of Curio Domains will lead to other rewards, such as the Chromatic Comet Outfit.

How to unlock the Chromatic Comet outfit in Infinity Nikki

To unlock the Chromatic Comet costume in Infinity Nikki, you first need to take a Random Quest from your old friend Stray Hatty. You’ve arrived at the Boneyard, and you’ll find him in the southeast corner of the Dragonrest Flowerfield area. Talk to him, and he will give you a voice Curio Domain: Mysterious Entry to seek

Its main purpose requires you to do so complete five Curio Domains in the Boneyard district. Stray Hatty’s side will count down to the end. When you’re done, you’ll meet him on the south side of the Soul Observatory, under a giant skeleton against the rock behind the main building. He’ll ask you to complete seven more Boneyard Curio Domains for a total of 12 (you can track your progress via the quest menu).

Also, Sray Hatty will be next to another Curio Domain that will count up to your price. There are more Curio Domains available in the region than you need, so don’t worry about having to track down and complete each one, if you find yourself stuck on one.

Once you’ve completed 12 of them, return to Stray Hatty at the Soul Observatory and as you unlock the quest, she’ll give you all the painting pieces for the Chromatic Comet dress.

In order to wear the Chromatic Comet costume, you will need to make a combination first with the items listed in the Sketch menu. Almost all of these are found in the Boneyard region, save for some that are found worldwide such as Threads of Purity and Terra Gems.

Leafantler fur	2	Use your dress up skill to collect these from the Leafantlers in the Boneyard district. You will find them in pairs or small groups with Sproutantlers.
Boneflame Bloom	1	These bright red flowers are found in abundance in the Boneyard area.
Windspin Flower	6	These pinwheel-style plants can be collected in almost every area of the Boneyard region, as one of the most common species.
Leafantler Fur Essence	1	These are collected automatically when you repair Leafantlers in the Boneyard region. Make sure you have the node to collect essence from Boneyard animals open in your Heart of Infinity grid.
Candlemelt Cluster Essence	2	This is automatically collected when collecting Candlemelt Cluster plants in the Boneyard region. Make sure you have the node to collect essence from Boneyard plants open in your Heart of Infinity grid.
Windspin Flower Essence	1	These are collected automatically when collecting Windspin Flowers from the Boneyard area. Make sure you have the node to collect essence from Boneyard plants open in your Heart of Infinity grid.
Terra Gem: Good	10	Participate and complete the Phantom Trial: Esseling Pack (Explosive) Challenge in the Realm of Darkness, and exchange Vital Powers for Terra Gems.
Plumeveil Feather	7	Use your grooming skills to collect these from Plumeveil birds in the Boneyard region, such as seagulls.
Emberpaw Furball	1	Use your Grooming skill to collect these from the Emberpaw cats in the Boneyard region.
Umbrellabloom	2	These plants are found in abundance in all areas of the Boneyard region except for the Dragon Ruins.
Dragonspine stem	11	These plants are mostly found in the watery areas of the Boneyard region, namely the Blue Pools and the Cultivarium.
Glaciscale	5	These are mostly found on the white cliffs around the Blue Pools, the Cultivarium, and the Soul Observatory.
A spider with wings	1	Use your robe’s Bug Catching ability to collect these from the cliffs around the Blue Pools and Cultivarium areas.
Ocarina Beetle	4	Use your Bug Catcher skill outfit to collect these tree trunks in the Boneyard area. They can also be tracked by the sweet sounds they make.
Glaciscale Essence	2	This is automatically collected when collecting Glaciscale in the Boneyard region. Make sure you have the node to collect essence from Boneyard plants open in your Heart of Infinity grid.
Spidered Spider Essence	1	These are collected automatically when you catch Pearled Spiders in the Boneyard region. Make sure you have a node to collect essence from Boneyard bugs open in your Heart of Infinity grid.
Ocarina Beetle Essence	1	These are collected automatically when catching Ocarina Beetles in the Boneyard region. Make sure you have a node to collect essence from Boneyard bugs open in your Heart of Infinity grid.
Cleanliness Thread	414	These can be collected in a variety of ways by completing quests, earning Mira Crowns, Ascendants, Mira Journey rewards, etc.
