Where to Find Lithium in Subnautica 2

Subnautica 2 is full of interesting gems and minerals to get your hands on. That it is for Titanium building foundationsQuartz for making glass or gold for more advanced art. It doesn’t matter what kind of rock it is, you’re definitely going to need a lot of it!
Lithium is no different. However, while you may tend to find titanium and quartz nodes scattered all over the place, when your storage is usually overflowing, Lithium is rare and hard to find.
Subnautica 2: Where to Get Silver
Silver stocks are rising! The best find the mines!
Lithium is not only hard to find, but you get less of it, too, when you mine a node. Here are a few places you’ll want to check out collect Lithium in Subnautica 2. Let’s get into it!
Location of Lithium
South of Spawn
There are 3 main places I found Lithium, and each corresponds to a different point in the game.
To begin with, you can get this first piece of Lithium right from the start, as it doesn’t need it any equipment or even diving equipment. You will want to go 280-300m south of the starting pointand dive around 90m. Near the large wreckage, you’ll find this type of broken cage contraption. Inside you’ll find a single piece of Lithium just sitting there, ripe for the taking.
If you don’t have a Tadpole, don’t forget to bring an Air Bladder. This can shoot you up to 100m in seconds!
Next, we have another strange event that is really close. It continued a little to the south of the Lithium spawn, you’ll notice a large set of jaws rising from the ground. Inside these jaws is a rare blue vessel covered with red fibers.
If you swim around, you’ll soon notice that there are a bunch of Lithium nodes inside. However, to get in there, you will have to carefully guide yourself between the threads without touching them. If you capture 2 of them, jaws will closeand you will have to run out of there as fast as possible.
Additionally, you will need a Sonic Resonator to mine these, and this can set you back on threads, so be very careful when collecting Lithium.
Caves of Fire
You will find this area after a while in your Subnautica 2 experience, after opening your 2nd Angel Comb. Near the Tadpole Pens, to the southwest, you’ll find a series of volcanic caves.
Inside these caves, you’ll find dozens of Lithium deposits hanging from the walls. Here you can mine to your heart’s content, without much worry. This area is relatively safe, unlike the previous Giant Clam enemy!
How to use Lithium
For the most part, you will be using Lithium in the production of Plasteel Ingots.
You can do this in a The processor by combining 2 Lithium with 1 Titanium ingot. This is especially useful for doing the following High Capacity Air Tank as well as an advanced tadpole!
