How to Get the Canto Blueprint in ARC Raiders

The Flashpoint to ARC Raiders update is here, and bless the excitement those interested in the domain with two brand new weapons!

Say hello to the Canto SMG! This is a rare SMG found in First Wave Caches, which can be found in the Hurricane map state. While Storm came out of the big final in February, it can still be found in the current map rotation, albeit at a slower pace, making this new Blueprint harder to find.

If you’ve ever played with an active Storm, you’ll probably have some inkling of what’s in store. However, for those who return after a while, the Storm does what it says on the tin. Once you enter the map, you will see that there is a strong storm blowing above, and you will be pulled all the way by the evil spirits.

Not only that, but your shield will shrink a bit in the storm, while revealing your position, and of course, ARC is more deadly than before. While the amount of loot increases with this scenario, that’s not what we’re here for.

During the storm, First Wave Caches it will be spread around the edges of the map. In these well-hidden caches, you can find all kinds of things, from important building materials to rare healing items, to, of course, blueprints! While you can find epic blueprints here, the Canto blueprint is, in fact, seems to be rare.

How to find them

Now, finding caches is one of the most difficult things. You’re not only fighting thunder storms, but other players who are trying to do the exact same thing as you. Honestly, if you haven’t received anything within the first 5-10 minutes, think they will all be robbed.

Make sure you go to the map with a custom list, as you are more likely to join at the beginning of the cycle instead of finishing it.

As soon as you load into the Storm map, you’ll want to view your location on the in-game map and compare it to the selection of maps here. This site shows you all possible locations for First Wave Caches. They will not spawn in all areasmind you, but it’s worth checking them all out.

Start with the warehouses closest to you and listen to a mechanical beeping sound to show its location. This is much easier with headphones, especially with wind noise in your ears. If you can’t hear anything nearby, move forward quickly to increase your time. You may want to bring it Adrenaline Shots to keep you always on the go.

Once you find the cache, just cross your fingers and hope for the best. You should be able to get at least 1-2 per cache if you hurry. Just watch out for vicious attackers looking for an easy kill.

The Canto

Once you’ve learned the blueprint, you can create a Canto with the following items:

2× Advanced Machine Parts
5× Magnet
3× Medium Gun Parts

This must be done in a fully developed Gunsmith Bench in your workplace. To develop this weapon to IV it is especially useful as it will be more accurate and have a higher capacity, so you can shoot longer without reloading. Pair this with the Medium-Magazine attachment to increase spray time.
