How to Unlock More Beers in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is finally here, and it brings a new way to play the FPS game that gamers know and love. If you’ve played Deep Rock Galactic before, you already know how important beer is to a small meal.

In this particular roguelike, unlocking beers works differently than before, as does buying them. In some ways, it’s easy, but it can be confusing the first time around.

10 Xbox Co-Op Games Worth Checking Out

The original Xbox was full of worlds to explore with a friend.

This guide will cover how to open and buy the different types of beer you want. We’ll have you looking good and drunk before too long, so you can get back to being the best Returner there is.

How to Open More Beers

Unlocking more beers to drink in Rogue Core is actually much easier than it was in the original Deep Rock Galactic. But before you go and do that, you’ll probably want to get a little familiar with where everything is.

You just go up the stairs and pass the main terminals, you will see a bar, but there is a different robot running this bar. This is Omega, and they’ll serve all your drinks with a little sass.

10 Games That Will Make You a Roguelike Fan

If you’re not a fan of roguelikes already, these games will get you on your way.

When you order something from Omega, you will open a beer menu where you can choose your favorite drink, or choose to make an effort to open another. Omega will inform you that you must pass the Beer License Eligibility Requirement before you can drink that drink.

Some beers are locked after the players level, so you will need to do a lot of tasks to be able to drink.

Transfer of Beer License Eligibility Requirement

Fortunately, to pass this test, you don’t have to go to the gym or walk too far from the bar. Just to the left is the workout area, where you can find four different stations that will make you do different exercises.

In the center of this area, above all, there will be a monitor that shows exactly what you need to do. It will provide a picture of the exercise and the number of sets and reps you need to do.

When you step up to one of the exercises, it will show how many reps you need to pass that requirement. You must meet this requirement in one go, or you will start over from scratch.

While completing your BLFR, you will not accumulate any heat until the challenge ends.

Each workout is a little different, so you may want to give each one a shot before you try to exceed your BLFR. It looks a little janky right now, but you’ll get three chances to throw it before the job ends.

After completing your BLFR, Omega will be kind enough to pour cold water on you to congratulate you. Feel free to drink it and keep yourself drunk enough to succeed in your next mission.

Paying for Beer

Brewing beer involves producing heat; there doesn’t seem to be an official name yet. This type of currency can be collected by completing the challenges of each elevator.

The heavier the lift, the more you gain, but this also takes longer to complete. It’s up to you how you achieve that heat, but regardless, you’ll need at least 250 heat to buy a pint.

Heat is not a permanent currency. Every time you return to the station, you will need to build up enough heat to buy beer again.

Once you’ve earned enough, you can head over to Omega and get yourself a cold cold beer to cool off. Whenever you feel ready, you can go on another trip before coming back to celebrate.

This roguelike has a lot to offer already, so be sure to grab your friends and a good drink before you dive back into the deep. You’ll still be playing it as an FPS, so you might not want to do double vision too much.
