One such puzzle is Warren’s office safe, which is difficult to crack without the necessary clues and knowledge of how it works. If you’re scratching your head at this, here’s how to solve Warren’s office safe in REPLACED.
Where is Warren’s Safe in REPLACED?
This safe puzzle comes together in time Chapter 8 of the main story in REPLACED, especially when you get to Warren’s apartment in the center of Phoenix-City after completing the missions down in the city streets below.
The safe itself is hidden behind a large screen in the back left of the central area of Warren’s apartment (where you listened to Steven’s message). Interact with the screen, and it will retract to reveal a safe door behind it. You need to solve your combination to find the copy of ARGO inside to advance the story.
How to unlock Warren’s Safe in REPLACED
To open Warren’s safe office in REPLACED, you first need to check Warren’s computer in the far right room of the apartment. This is where you get information about the safe itself, as well as important tips on how to open it. Plus, don’t miss the ‘Stranger in the Mirror’ soundtrack collection while you’re there.
Connect to the computer to bring up the screen interface, and check the information available on the ‘Safe Manual’ and ‘MEMORY LOSS’ tabs. This will reveal how security works, and a unique advice (as seen above) that requires “taste, sight, sound, arranged in chronological order”.
Items that refer to these sensors are scattered around the apartment, and will be available for you to interact with after you read these files on the computer and uncover the wall safe.
Certain things are included (like a potted plant and a scent) to throw you off, which means that not all of them are related to the solution, so remember the description of each one. Important parts of their definition will be highlighted in yellow (bold below). Focus on the following things:

Spice Cabinet – Best before April 1977 (Hint: Cayenne) – On the shelf in the kitchen area to the left of the safe wall

Vintage Vinyl – The Essentials’66 (Hint: Substitute) – On the small shelf next to the red bed on the lower level of the middle room on the right.

Blur Photo – Happy Birthday 12/10/1963 (Hint: Birthday) – To the right of the long console table on the lower level of the middle room.
Once you’ve found these three items, go back to the secure wall and connect to it again for a password input prompt. Also, it will refer to the point displayed on the computer about “taste, sight, sound, arranged in chronological order”, which means that you need to refer to these things based on their chronological dates.
Based on these findings and hints, the correct password is: Birthday (1963) – Acting (1966) – Cayenne (1977)
