How to Complete the Aggregated Terror Challenge in Phasmophobia

If there’s one thing that Phasmophobia is like at this point, it would be its most popular map — 6 Tanglewood Drive. This map is where every aspiring paranormal investigator begins, and has been part of the game’s identity ever since. Thanks to another mod-style update from Kinetic Games, Tanglewood now has a completely new look and its own challenge to boot.

The challenge in question is the Entangled Terror, and you’ll need to put your investigative skills to work to defeat it. If you’re wondering how it works, here’s how to complete the Entangled Terror in Phasmophobia challenge.

What is the Event Board in Phasmophobia?

The Event Board is where you can find all of Phasmophobia’s current and ongoing special challenges that involve completing extensive objectives for unique rewards. Each of them has a specific map theme or action, such as achievements or the famous Apocalypse challenge.

Some of these challenges, especially those that come with the game’s recurring seasonal events like Winter’s Jest, are only available for as long as the event lasts (usually about a month). Meanwhile, a few other challenges, like the Ranger Challenge or the Lighthouse Keeper Challenge, are permanent additions to the game, and you can complete them at your own pace.

You can track your progress through each of these challenges using the Event Board, as each progress gauge will update as you complete quests and any other objectives. The main prize for these challenges is usually a special ID Card and badge that you can customize for your character profile.

How to Complete the Combined Terror Challenge in Phasmophobia

To complete the Entangled Terror challenge in Phasmophobia, you need to complete a total of 50 quests on the updated 6 Tanglewood Drive map. Be sure to select it from the Map board on the left side of the main lobby, and bring your best gear loadout.

In order for the investigation to qualify for the completion of the Terrorist Entangle challenge, you only need to correctly identify the ghost and survive to complete the contract. Optional objectives and media proof are not required. If you ride this game alone, this means you have to survive and leave the buildings to yourself. Meanwhile, if you are in a group, at least one person must survive to leave the van and continue the conversation.

If you were familiar with the original version of the Tanglewood map, the improved version released with the Tanglewood Rework update (v0.16.0.0) might be a bit of a learning curve. The basic structure of the map remains the same, with many rooms on the main floor and a basement. However, the rooms themselves are completely redesigned with new displays and interactions. Hiding areas have also been fixed.

If it happens, complete this challenge with friends it can help simplify things about the investigation itself. The extra eyes on the ghost usually help you pinpoint it faster, and you can simply turn around and leave the house to make your guess and return to base. Also, since goals are not your priority here, keep the quest set to Amateur difficulty to help ensure you get plenty of setup time and hunting is easy to deal with.

Rewards for Terrorism Challenges Combined in Phasmophobia

The main reward for the Entangled Terror Challenge in Phasmophobia is Suburbante ID card and badge. This can be customized through your profile on the lobby notice board in the top right corner.

To do so, go to your ID card and tap the Edit icon in the top right corner of the card to reveal your customization options. Scroll to the second row labeled ‘Special Badge,’ and look for the grass gnome-styled badge. Now you can be a proud Tanglewood Drive suburbanite!
