Aerogen
Aerosol drug delivery company Aerogen has a number of open roles suitable for professionals who want to work in the health-focused organization of the future. In Galway, open roles include clinical affairs manager, global finance and analytics manager, program focus and analytics, regional human resources leader, senior design engineer and senior operations engineer. Some of those roles are also available in Shannon, Clare.
Alexion
Massachusetts-based pharma Alexion has been operating in Ireland since 2013, with sites in Dublin and Athlone and was acquired by AstraZeneca in 2020. At the Dublin campus the vacant roles include a senior manager in network provisioning engineering, an MSAT scientist in cell culture and a senior real-world data scientist. Also in Dublin and Cork, there is an opening for a senior director in end-to-end digital strategy and innovation.
Amgen
A pharmaceutical company Amgen is looking to hire additional technology to carry out work at its Dún Laoghaire facility. Vacancies in the organization include the position of assurance manager, bioprocess specialist, senior manufacturing associate and senior process and equipment engineer.
BMS
Medicines Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) has operated in Ireland for over fifty years and has several locations across the country, in Swords, Cruiserath, Blanchardstown and Shannon, employing approximately 1,000 people in Ireland. There are currently many future health-oriented jobs to be found on the premises of Cruiserath. Available roles include associate scientist/engineer for manufacturing certification, science and technology position, drug product partner role in sterile drug production and similar senior role, among others.
Luminate Medical
In Galway, Luminate Medical you have a number of roles offered by professionals with the right skills for the future healthcare environment. Roles include clinical trial protocol specialist, senior cloud architect, associate/graduate R&D engineer and senior design validation engineer, all based in Galway.
Medtronic
May is a global health technology company Medtronic announced 85 new roles in Galway with the establishment of a European software development center for the operation of its patient care systems. Professionals based in Ireland who are interested in working at Medtronic can apply for roles such as reliability software engineer, senior software engineer for the catalyst group, chief training and education specialist for robotics, chief R&D engineer and many roles in the coronary and renal denervation department.
MSD
International medicine MSD is actively looking to recruit for a number of roles in Ireland. The organization has offices in many locations and has space for a senior scientist in analytical R&D, a process engineer, an associate director of drug sales, a senior validation engineering specialist and advanced operations technology. An Irish AI healthcare company xWave Technologies recently announced plans to raise €3m in a new funding round. This allows the creation of 30 new job opportunities be completed in the next three years. Currently the teams in Ireland and the UK are looking to recruit someone to lead the product of AI products, in the field of health technology and clinical decision support.
Viatris
Health company Viatris is looking to recruit a number of professionals, across a range of disciplines, to its Irish facilities. The Galway team is looking to add a senior QA quality compliance officer, EHS consultant, quality control analysts and microbiology specialist. In Dublin there are professional opportunities with skills in regulatory matters, global device quality, European regulatory policy/intelligence, RIM specialized data storage and QC analysis, among other activities.
