Overall, this is a weird sequence, and it’s not clear how much is actually happening versus how much is being tricked.

Well, it’s interesting that Poppy talks about getting a conscience, like this pointing at you Eddiewho was known as a ruthless person. He wouldn’t say this to someone like Rich, so it goes along with the other information you’ve been getting so far. It can also give you a reason to come back as Eddie when you grow up and start feeling guilty about what you did at Playtime Co.

Although there is no official confirmation about the identity of your character, it now appears to be Eddie Ritterman. This goes against the popular theory that you play as Rich, but it also comes with interesting baggage given Eddie’s role in the company and his well-known personality. Hopefully, Mob Entertainment will add more details to identify Poppy Playtime’s identity in Chapter 6.
