PlayVS has partnered with Kfton to present PUBG College Royale

North America’s esports platform PlayVS announced a partnership with Crafton to present PUBG College Royale.

This is the first official PUBG college tournament in the region and will be open to students across the country United States again Canada.

Compiled in PlayVS College League The ecosystem, PUBG College Royale will kick off on March 15, awarding top performers a portion of its $15,000 (~£11,128) scholarship pool, ASUS ROG gear, and more.

“PUBG College Royale opens the door for student players to compete in a structured, competitive environment while exploring a potential first step on their path to the professional ranks,” said Atila Yesildag, Director of West Esports at KRAFTON.

“We are excited to grow our competitive ecosystem and empower emerging players to turn their passion into opportunity.”

Event registration is live for confirmed college students, and participants will begin their college journey Open the trunk. There will be a total of three Open Qualifiers held on March 15th, March 22nd, and March 29th.

The goal will be to earn points during the Open Qualifiers. The top 16 teams with the highest points will advance to The final on April 12.

Each Open Qualifier will have five matches, while the finals will have six matches. In addition, the Finals will be streamed live on PUBG’s official Twitch channel.

PlayVS Continues to Expand Its Collegiate Esports Ecosystem

PlayVS launched the College League in July 2025 with the goal of helping college students in North America pursue careers in sports. Alongside PUBG, other popular esports titles that are part of the PlayVS College League include League of Legends, Marvel Rivals, VALORANT, Overwatch, and more.

PlayVS also operates several educational leagues that cater to middle school and high school students. In 2025, the organization joined The Pokémon Company to enter Pokémon UNITE into the league.

PlayVS also acquired a youth and educational gaming platform Vanta Esports in order to increase its reach to more readers. Recently, the product has partnered with an established cloud provider Theta Labs introducing the AI ​​agent for PlayVS College League.
