Astralis announces Stake as an official betting partner

Danish sports association Astralis announced a new partnership with an online casino and sports arena A pole.

According to the announcement, the partnership was closed following the acquisition of a ‘new Danish license’ which lasts for five years.
“The stake is entering the Danish market with global momentum,” Jakob Kristensen, CRO of Astralishe wrote online. “And doing so together with Astralis demonstrates the strength of our platform, our audience, and our long-term vision of esports as mainstream entertainment.
“We see significant opportunities to innovate, increase fan engagement, and help shape the next phase of our industry.”
Astralis has become the latest esports organization to partner with Stake, which has also signed a multi-year partnership with French brand Team Vitality. Astralis has also partnered with several brands over the years, from the GoWish 2024 collaboration to its current partners Bazcom and ZOWIE.

Astralis Esports’ journey to Counter-Strike 2
Astralis has fielded teams in many competitive titles over the years, from Rainbow Six Siege to League of Legends. However, it is best known for its work in the Counter-Strike 2 esports scene, which it has been a part of since 2016 after renaming Team Questionmark.
In early 2025, Astralis placed third in PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 after losing 2-1 to FaZe Clan, although they received $150,000 (~£111,840) in the win. After several months of early exits in BLAST Open Spring and PGL Bucharest, Astralis placed second in PGL Astana in May 2025, losing 3-1 to Team Spirit in the Grand Finals.
With its performances in several S-Tier events, Astralis has been invited to the Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup 2025 tournament based on the June VRS rankings. Placed between ninth and 16th overall, taking home $20,000 (~£14,910) for the win.
In 2026, Astralis placed seventh/eighth at IEM Kraków, after losing 2-1 to FURIA during the Group Stage. Its most recent appearance was at PGL Cluj Napoca 2026, where it placed between ninth and eleventh overall.
