Let’s go underwater and look at details that you may not have noticed during your first playthrough. There are small changes and small interactions that you don’t get unless you play the game many times. Did you notice that the singing zombies act differently depending on which character you control in Resident Evil Requiem? There is much more than that.

Scrubbing Maid

Wash Your Face

Requiem Evil Details Details Maid Scrubbing

There are two maid zombies lurking around the halls of the care center in Resident Evil Requiem. The first of these is found in the bathroom, and he is constantly scrubbing the mirrors, trying to get that spotless light.

The second slave zombie is the one we want to focus on. This zombie can be found in the waiting room. If you happen to meet him, and let him hold your hand, he will try to wipe your face with his hand. This is a shocking reminder of how he cleaned the institution during his lifetime.

Emily Reads Village of Shadows

A nod to Resident Evil Village

Requiem Evil Details Emily Reading Details

If you have played Resident Evil Village, you probably remember the book that is read in the introduction of the game. The book is called Village of Shadows, and it follows the events of the Resident Evil Village story. The same letter can be found at the beginning of the game, and it is related to “The Girl,” who chases you in the care center.

When you first meet Emily while playing as Grace, you’ll notice that she’s reading a book. If you look closely at this book, you will notice that you are reading the same book from Resident Evil Village, translated into braille. This was caught by a Reddit user who translated the Braille letters and found the information.

Requiem has a kick

Send Grace Flying

Requiem Evil Details Details Requiem Gun

In Resident Evil Requiem, you get a gun called Requiem. Capcom gives you the most powerful gun in the game at the beginning, but you have absolutely no ammo, and you don’t want to let it go to waste.

This lack of ammo may tempt you to ignore the gun until the end like I did during my first playthrough. While I had a lot of fun using this powerful cannon against late-game enemies, I missed the neat details. The first time Grace fires this weapon, she is hit with a large amount of recoil.

You can really see the effect of this twist in the third person POV, where Grace’s arms fly back, showing how much she knows about power guns.

Details of Citizen Malpractice Claims Against Leon

It’s easy to get caught up in the fear of Resident Evil Requiem and forget to look at the small details staring you in the face. When you slow down, however, and look at the differences between Grace and Leon, you begin to notice some interesting details.

For example, Leon is calm when aiming his weapons. You’ve been through this before and you know what to expect. On the other hand, Grace is worried, and when she holds her gun, she seems to be shaking a lot. To add more to this detail, later in the game, Grace is nervous, and calmly fires her weapon.

Would You Like Wine?

It Tastes Like Blood

Requiem Evil Details Sanguis Virginis

Inside Castle Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, there is a puzzle that requires you to grab a bottle of wine and place it in the wine holder. It won’t be just any wine, however, as it must be a bottle of Sanguis Virginis, found in the kitchen.

Surprisingly, this same wine makes an appearance in Resident Evil Requiem. When you enter the office that leads down to the underground lab, you must open a fake bottle of wine. This bottle is the same type of wine from Resident Evil Village, and a beautiful souvenir of Lady Dimitrescu.

The only difference between the two bottles is that the one in Resident Evil Requiem is missing the fancy decoration on top. It also makes us wonder if Lady Dimitrescu is providing wine at the care center.

A game of roulette

And Maybe A Date?

Resident Evil Requiem Details Roulette Table

Admittedly, it’s hard to miss the giant roulette table in the center of the care center. That’s not the details we’re talking about here. Instead, we’re talking about the numbers he lives in.

When you spin the roulette wheel, it will only land on the numbers 7, 15, and 29. If you happen to shoot one of these numbers before spinning the wheel, and the ball lands on the number, you will be awarded an Antique Coin. In addition, many believe that this could be Capcom revealing the date of the next Resident Evil title, as the numbers create a date of July 15, 2029.

Dictators are expensive

But It Comes With A Free Jacket

Requiem Evil Details Mr X Cost

When you get to the Ark, you’ll find various computers with information about experiments. If you ever wanted to buy a bioweapon, one of the computers has information on the cost of all of them. Fun fact: Lickers cost $14,000,000 each, and Leon takes a ton of them out of the story.

If you want a Tyrant of your own, you will need to pay $120,000,000. While the value is incredibly high, you have to remember, Tyrants are one of the hardest creatures to kill. Don’t worry, each Tyrant you order comes with a free coat of “effective human camouflage.”

License Plate

He Survived Four Games

License Plate for Residential Improper Information

It’s easy to spot Leon’s new Porsche and quickly dismiss it. After all, a luxury car in a video game is nothing we haven’t seen before. However, it has a little secret if you look closely.

The license plate on the back of Leon’s new ride reads “ND = 9624.” This is not a special piece of the puzzle as many think. Instead, it refers to the games Leon was in. So far, this man has survived Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6, and now Resident Evil 9, and he has to come back for more.

Leon is married

Who is His Lover?

Details of Citizen Evil Leon Walking Away

Leon was a busy man. He’s saved a lot of lives, and he seems to always be following some kind of bioterrorism event. However, it is clear that he has had time to settle down and get married.

When he leaves Grace at the end of the game, he sees her putting something on her finger. Many assumed that this was a ring, but it wasn’t confirmed until fans got into the concept art and realized that Leon had a ring on his finger. No one knows yet who her partner could be, but many think it’s either Claire or Ada.

Hunk is confirmed

It’s in Files

Resident Evil Requiem Details Hunk Kill

Many quickly assumed that he was fighting Hunk as one of the bosses in Resident Evil Requiem. After all, the actor looks like a soldier wearing a mask, and has many of the same moves. One of the best details you can see during this fight is Hunk’s neck signature. Yes, it requires you to kill yourself to see all the animations.

Now that it’s been a while since Requiem was released, fans have been able to dig deeper into the files to find out the truth. Turns out this soldier was Hunk, as one of the character files is labeled as such. Turns out the fans were right all along.
