First, you get a chocobo and later a carriage, which doesn’t increase the exploration much but gives you a taste of it. Then comes Tiny Bronco, which lets you visit every continent of your choice and Wutai.

After that, you get access to the submarine and finally the High Spirit, which allows you to explore almost anywhere in the world. I say almost because the only way to reveal the deepest secrets is the Gold Chocobo, obtained after a very difficult breeding process. But it’s always worth it.

Materia doesn’t just affect math; describes actions. You can turn a physical attacker into a mage, a support unit, or something completely different. It allows for incredible flexibility and creativity, allowing you to make your party the way you like it.
