Battlefield 6 Launches Night Maps as Free Trial Launch

While Battlefield 6 managed to bring the franchise to new heights, it managed to lose a ton of players within a few months of its release. Publisher Electronic Arts is looking to remedy that, and it’s doing so by offering players a chance to try out the Battlefield 6 experience for free.

Starting today, console and PC players will be able to try out Battlefield 6, and the timing is right too, as Season 2: Nightfall just launched today.

Battlefield 6 Free Trial Features Four Maps

The free trial starts today and will be available until March 24. Those who are curious, you will be able to try four maps, including: Contaminated, Hagental Base, Eastwood, and Mirak Valley. There will be six modes in the trial, and include the fan favorite Conquest, Breakthrough, as well as Squad Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Escalation, and Domination.

Players who try the free trial can carry over their progress to the full game if they decide to purchase Battlefield 6.

For those who jump into the game expecting it to be like Call of Duty, you’ll have a hard time finding success that way, as Battlefield 6 rewards team play and pursuing an objective over trying to kill as many as possible. Our review of the game speaks highly of the overall experience, even if the single-player mode was underwhelming, saying, “It’s not the best shooter ever by any margin, but it’s the first battlefield ready to dominate the multiplayer space after years of Call of Duty oppression, and I welcome it as our new ruler.”

EA and DICE have managed to put a big shadow on Battlefield 6 cheats.

In related news, Battlefield 6 was denied a BAFTA awards category for multiplayer, which is surprising to see. Although EA managed to do something special with Battlefield 6, the publisher may have difficulty in repeating its success, since Vince Zampella, producer of the Call of Duty franchise and former head of the Battlefield brand at EA, tragically died in a car accident last December.
