Abyss Cores are very important when it comes to creating strong structures in the Crimson Desert. These sphere items can be added to your weapons and armor, adding buffs to your characters, such as increased attack power, increased defense, faster attack speed, etc.

However, you cannot equip Abyss Cores to your equipment on your own. Instead, you need to find game wizards and do the work for you. Unfortunately, finding game wizards is not as easy as it sounds.

There are five witches in total in this game, all of them are hidden in hidden places. In this guide, we will discuss how to find all the witches in Crimson Desert.

The Hermit Witch

The Hermit Witch can be found near the beginning of the game, but she is not at all due to her hiding inside a cave north of Hernand town. To find the Hermit Witch, make your way to the area shown in the image below and make your way to the side of the mountain.

It is here that you will find a hole in the side of the mountain, leading to a cave where the Hermit Witch can be found. The Hermit Witch doesn’t offer any quests, but it does allow you to connect your Abyss Cores to missions.

Wizard of Wisdom

Players will naturally encounter the Witch of Wisdom during the main story of Crimson Desert. After defeating Kearush, one of the main bosses of Chapter 5, your goal will be to rescue the Witch. Following this line of quests will lead you to save the Witch from captivity and eventually end up in her house.

The Witch of Wisdom, also known as Elowen, has her home southwest of Hernand City. You can craft craft, socket, extract Abyss Cores from Elowen’s shop. Also, talking to Elowen will unlock the Witch of Wisdom side quest, which involves cleansing a number of Sanctums in the Hernand region.

The Witch of Grace

To unlock the Witch of Kindness in the Crimson Desert, players need to find her in two places. He is first found in the southwest of the city of Pailune, north of the “P” in Pailune on the map. His exact location can be found in the picture below.

When you first find the Kind Witch, she will be under a tent, shivering from the freezing cold. To get him to talk to you, you need to light a nearby fire to warm him up.

Light the flame of the Witch of Kindness Crimson Desert

After talking to the Kind Witch here, you will move to her home in the center of the lake near the Silver Wolf Mountains.

Talking to the Witch of Kindness in her house will rain you down as a vendor of Abyss Cores, also unlocking the Witch of Kindness side quest. This quest makes you clear a series of Sanctums in the Pailune area.

The Witch of Humility

Players first need to rescue the Humble Witch from Beighen. He can be found hanging from the edge of a bridge, screaming for help, so he’s asking for your help to bring him to safety. The picture below shows where you can find him.

After rescuing the Humble Witch from the bridge, she will teleport to her place in Serpent Marsh. His location can be found inside a cave inside the Serpent Marsh, which can be seen by hanging ribbons.

Once you talk to the wizard at his place, you can start using him as a vendor for your Abyss Core needs. You’ll also unlock the Witch of Humility side quest that focuses on cleaning Sanctums.

A Wizard of Power

The Witch of Power may be the last witches players will unlock in the Crimson Desert. As the Witch of Kindness and Humility, players need to find her fake form first before becoming a merchant.

Players can find the forged form of the Power Witch just north of Tashkalp in the Crimson Desert area, next to a small shed that pretends to be a child. Use the image below to learn the exact location of his fake form.

After talking to the Power Witch as a child, her location will be marked on your map. It is located in the northern part of the Crimson Desert region, high in the mountains.

After talking to the witch, you will unlock the Witch of Strength side quest. This quest involves cleaning a number of Sanctums around the Crimson Desert region.
