The setting for Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed

According to Tudum, Netflix’s official news site, Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed The series will take place in 64 CE Ancient Rome and has officially begun production at Cinecitta Studios in Rome, Italy.

The details of the history and historical events or the characters that will appear in the exhibition have not yet been revealed, but 64 CE was a significant year in the history of Ancient Rome as that was the year the Great Fire of Rome took place, a devastating event that lasted nine days and destroyed three quarters of the city of Rome.

The exact origin of the fire is unknown, although many historians and contemporaries believed that the Roman Emperor Nero started the fire as an incentive to rebuild parts of the city with his Greek-inspired designs.

Ubisoft and Netflix have revealed that the next show will take place in 64 CE Ancient Rome.

Nero later blamed the fire on the Christians and began arresting thousands of people, resulting in approximately 980 Christians being killed for fun or crucified.

Nero was previously rumored to be an important figure in football AC show, and it seems that he may actually be a possible antagonist in the show, possibly a member of the Order of the Ancients, the ancient predecessors of the Templar Order.
