Where to find the Secret Egg in Chapter 5

If you are a fan Easter Eggsor just eggs in general, you will know about secret eggs hidden in each chapter of Deltarune.

What do these eggs do? That is the question. Well, honestly, not so much. They give you access to some special dialogue and change bits and pieces throughout the chapters, but overall, they’re just another fun game for fans.

That doesn’t mean they won’t have a hidden impact in the future, however. Special Egg Finale, anyone? Let’s look at the egg in Chapter 5 and how we can get our hands on it. We’ll have enough for the Omelette in no time!

Wheat on the Clifftop

First, you’ll need to go to the Cliff area with the tall yellow wheat/grass. You can get here very quickly by going to any fast-moving entrance and selecting the shop option from the Cliffs menu.

Go up the stairs, and when you get to the shop, head east to find the grassy part. Walk across the grass until you reach an archway that starts a running sequence.

Here, you will have to run forward, cutting down all the grass. When all the grass has been cut, and you run through it again, you will notice that one continuous piece appears. You need to cut this blade of grass 5 timesand eventually you will see a small green balloon pop out.

Run back again head west, following the balloon’s journey as it is carried by the wind. Once you successfully change the screen, you will find yourself in a completely new zone.

Annoying Dog Flower Puzzle

You will find yourself in a room shaped like a flower, with 6 small flowers where each leaf can be. Annoying Dog can be found here, suspended in a balloon, floating from flower to flower.

You need to communicate with each flower, just as the dog came down towards him. Every time you successfully finish a flower, the dog will speed up, forcing you to continue.

For me, the dog went in the following pattern: South-East, North-East, Middle-Low, Middle-High, South-West and finally North-West. After you finish all 6 flowers, a Watering Can will appear in the middle of the room.

You need to take this watering can too water the grass on the far left of the room to build a path. However, when you grab the can, the dog will try to take it away from you. Wait until it floats on the right side of the screen before watering the grass, and you can complete this in one attempt.
